Possible, but it's not something I really expect to happen. I don't expect a classic, but it's a good enough fight imo.
Seems all the Americans are thinking this will be a close fight. Yet the majority over here believe Haye is clear favourite.
Yanks probably see simiralities in level of performance in Haye-Wlad and Chisora-Vitali and little else.
i dont know if id call him a clear favourite, he deserves to be favourite, but id be very surprised if he stopped delboy, i mean i can see delboy walking on to a few bombs but hes a tough guy. also his win over helenius is probably as good as anything haye achieved at heavyweight imo, helenius was on a good run against some decent "names" but chisora was just better imo and is still criminally underrated
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=399696&page=21 Check out the poll. Chisora 33 Haye 122. Valuev was better than Helenius. Don't let the fashionable Valuev pisstaking detract from that. He had many defences of his title. Valuev > Helenius Ruiz > Sexton Harrison > Williams Barrett > Danny "The Fridge" Baker Haye (against Wlad) = Chisora (against Vitali) Chisora is rated about right IMO. He gets far too much credit for doing OK against a faded 40 year old Vitali. People say he gave him his toughest fight since Lewis etc SO HE ****ING SHOULD! The guy is ****ed and fading dramatically. I also think noone really talks about Chisora's loss to Tyson Bloody Fury. Its like he gets the Kevin "not fully prepared so it doesn't count" treatment.
ye i understand the poll is wide but in betting terms i wouldnt have it that wide imo, and i agree with your point on vitali (though i rate his performance much better than haye's against wlad, who id struggle to give 2 rounds to), but valuev really is a poor champ, he lost to holyfield, and would have lost to chisora if he'd been around that level, haye is favourite and rightly so, but i think this will be fairly close, because haye doesn't throw enough or hard enough to make this easy
Chisora will spew it I think. He is a bully. He only did his stuff with the k bros because he was sure they would either a not retaliate or b be held back. He was quiet as a mouse in the build up to Fury, because he was utterly certain Fury would retaliate. Against Haye I think he believed Haye would do nothing and found out otherwise. Hayes power and speed will shut him down on the night, he won't be half as bold as he was against Vitali.
I can see Chisora taking a lot of punishment in this fight but his granite chin will see him through to the middle/late rounds.
