End of the day, I dint see Murray moving two light welter for a couple of years tbh, so jars is the only realistic option of khan Ortiz and kats. I think he would Juno at the chance for fight him or jmm

their both a weight division above him, and you don't need to be brainless to be brave, no boxers a coward least of all one who's a multi champ, its just the politics of the game, you can't always cash in when you'd like, john will get his chance, just needs to be patient for an oppertunity at lightweight.

Nonsense, the Ortiz fight was never seriously discussed and all he did with Khan was try and get a bit of PR by piggybacking on Khans rising star.

Even if the "charges" you make in the first post are reasonable, which I don't think they are, that still doesn't make him a "coward". As Portside has said, hes a pro boxer and a champion, fair enough if you have criticism but to label someone like that a "coward" from behind a computer screen is pretty poor IMHO.

What I do not understand about Murray is why he has signed again with Hennessey.

All I can think with these guys is that they like being a something of a priority for Hennessey and fear being lost in the pack if they sign with Warren.

I way well be wide of the mark with that though....

Not sure how anyone can be called a 'priority' if he doesnt get them any fights.

I prefaced it with "something of a....." because of that.

Thats all I can think of though. Big fish, small pond and all that.

No professional boxer is a coward.

Murray does seem to lack the big balls a lot of us would like our fighters to have - metaphorically, I assume. However, he still puts his life on the line just to make a buck and that is not the sign of a coward. He might be a fighting a Eurobum rather than a world champion but he's still allowing himself to be punched in the face for half an hour.

If you used a more sensible moniker, then we would have a debate - albeit one that's been done many, many times before. Yes, he should have stepped it up and yes he has been over-protected. Now, I think he knows he isn't really ready for these top fighters as Fat Mick hasn't prepared him and moved him on the way a Warren might have. I think that's a real shame.
