    Indeed

However, we might as well come to the realization early to avoid disappointment for some members

Jones will indeed be felling a fellow legend in this one, if he pulls out a miracle.

No, but regardless of how Joe is slated on this forum it will be a significant achievement that will add considerably to his legacy.

'Even at the age of 39 and only fighting once a year, Roy Jones managed to dethrone the formerly undefeated Joe Calzaghe. The Welshman had previously dispatched light heavyweight kingpin Bernard Hopkins and unified the super middle weight division by defeating the formerly undefeated heir apparent Mikkel Kessler and undefeated rising star Jeff Lacey. Most experts gave Jones little chance of causing the upset. Roy Jones has now added a spectacular footnote to his career and will surely go down in history as one of boxing's finest.'

Is Joe Calzaghe a boxing legend? If he's going to be an ATG, then I guess he is - very loosely.

Tarver and Johnson have already shattered Jones' Legend literally by hitting his Glass Jaw.

Perhaps Jones is a Super Legend and Calzaghe just a Legend at this point

A super size me legend perhaps.

If Jones takes that 0 it really cuts to ribbons any chance of Calzaghes gaining world legendary status with time, imo.

If he does a Clinton Woods on him well...:scaredas:

Having said that leaden footed Jones will be gassing after 3 rounds... he has absolutely no chance of winning this...

If Roy beats Calzaghe, Roy will be without doubt the King of all Legends.

If he's going to be an ATG, and retire undefeated - after taking Joe Louis record... He's got to hold some sort of legendary status, surly.

Naturally he can`t be one it`s mandatory to have USA tattooed on your arse to become one. No wonder US foreign policy is f*cked up.

As much as it pains me to say it, AT THIS MOMENT IN TME, I'd have to say no.

Personally, Calzaghe's status will grow once he has retired. Jones will cause some problems for Calzaghe in their November 8 clash. Also, I can see people giving Calzaghe **** if the fight is close or even if Jones hears the final bell - unjustified in my book.

I think Calzaghe will win on points by a comfortable margin (116 - 112) with the usual idiotic fans crying robbery.

NO, even if Calzaghe loses to Jones, his fans will still act like he's the greatest ever.
