No reason to be like that about the U.S. But, I can understand how you might feel about the Calzaghe haters. The guy possesses pure God-given talent. He can beat you in so many ways. I loved how he surprised Lacy when he started beating him on the inside, as well as from the outside. It's hard to beat Calzaghe, because he adjusts better than anyone I have ever seen. I thought Kessler was going to get him, but he adjusted and turned the tables. The ref was trying to help Kessler, and Calzaghe beat them both.

    Calzaghe is no Legend

But if jones manages to beat Calzaghe at this moment

    Roy Jones is above ATG

It got to a level where it s actually embarrassing seeing these guys rag on JC when a blind man can see their rabid xenophobia. I wouldn`t like to have been a neighbour of any of these people in Hitlers Germany.

This is a quite novel viewpoint that I have not heard before. I've watched the fight several times and have no idea what you are talking about. Care to explain?

When you think about it, some of the guys here were raising Lacy up as a legend. Calzaghe changed that so quickly. Calzaghe could have already been labeled a legend killer after that fight. I think some people are still trying to grasp what happened to Lacy. You know, some fights are so shocking to some people, that it literally challenges everything they grew up knowing. Calzaghe is an ATG, no doubt. Not because I want him to be that, but because all you have to do is watch his fights, and he makes it look so easy. I think since he never gets in huge wars or cut up, they think his oppositon is not good or something. I'm happy Roy and Calzaghe will fight each other, because it tells me more and more they are not afraid of fighting other legends.

Yea, when Calzaghe started busting Kessler to the body. Kessler was obviously hurt, and ready to go, but for some reason the ref stepped in front of Calzaghe and warned Calzaghe for something I'll never know. Also, in the Lacy fight, they took a point away from Calzaghe for holding, that was funny too.

I think he is referring to a moment of the fight where Calzaghe was pulled up for rabbit punching where he seemingly had Kessler in trouble after hurting him to the body.

Both fights were on Joes terms, and in Cardiff.

Then he needs to choose better refs than he did in the Kessler and Lacy fights. He should be like Mayweather and Hatton, pick those refs that help give you advantages winning fights, like Cortez or something.

I remember people screaming "hometwon ref" when Manfredo was stopped. Whilst I agree the stoppage was slightly premature I had major concerns when Terry O'Conner was announced as the third man. That was not bias, he is just a poor official in my opinion.

I think the best ref ever to me is Kenny Bayless. He's not too old, and I think he is the fairest and lets the boxers fight. I thought he did a great job in the Cotto/Margarito fight. I also like Smoger.

Yup, Bayliss is a class act. He also did a terrific job for De La Hoya - Mayweather.
