That's unfair, Hatton has fought out of the comfort zone in the US several times - Joe has only been there once.

Cortez was hardly kind to Hatton either.

I really can't believe your crying foul play for Joe in Cardiff where he has absolutly everything on his terms (like every home town guy does) - it's a new one on me.

    Legend?

The Calzaghe nuthugging is proceeding to go through the roof at ESB.

Many here have NO love for Cortez at all. He is bad for boxing. It is hard to say if he is biased or a bad ref. It has been a while since I watched Hatton/Mayweather, but is it he wouldn't let Hatton fight on the inside but would let Hopkins clinch? :huh

Only outdone by the Calzaghe bashing at the hands of green eyed Yanks.

I never said Cortez helped Hatton. I meant that for Mayweather. In Hatton's last fight, the ref bailed him out.

Look at the Kessler-Calzaghe fight. The ref (Ortega, I think) interfered for no reason when Kessler was hurt, and Calzaghe was zeroing in on him. If that's not ref-help, then what is? Also, Ortega doesn't look like someone from Wales to me.

Whats your point Fuzz - that the ref in Wales was crooked, and set out to help Kessler?
