Is Joseph Parker stepup for Joshua?

Deontay would have been the true step up for the bodybuilder. Anthony just needs to summon up the courage and accept the 50% the bomb squad kindly offered....

 

Parker has 24 fights and has fought top 10 or 15 oponents like Takam,Ruiz and Fury.

I think there is enough footage to rate him.

 

Of Parker's recent opponents, AJ is most similar to Dimitrenko in height, weight, style.

Parker overpowered him in 3 rounds.

joshua has a good left hook and dimetrenko does not

Both AJ and Dimitrenko are more 'robotic'. Same stature as each other - almost exactly.

But yes - AJ is far more powerful. The main difference.

I still rate AJ-Parker as a 50/50 fight.

I give Parker 10-15% chance. I can't see any way he will outpoint AJ in the UK - so I'm treating that as a means of victory that just isn't possible unless he knocks AJ down 3 or 4 times.

 

Gonna be tough - but my heart is with Parker...

 

Hughie Fury simply stunk the joint out by running away for the entire fight. Nobody will look good against Fury and that's part of the reason nobody will bother fighting him.
