    Gold medal, world class sparring, been in the ring with several former champs and current champs. Experience isn’t the issue.

    As a Brit I loved AJ. Our great hope. Nicer than Fury.

    Since then he lost my respect because he failed to make sure he was in the first fight featuring two of AJ Fury and Wilder. He always gave it the big'un whilst failing to really walk the walk or prove he can box.

    I didn't know Ruiz and presumed AJ would win fairly easily. I laughed my backside off when I saw the fight. A very good heavyweight, but a lot to prove if he wants to be thought of as a great. Wilder and Fury are much closer to greatness.

    What I wonder is this: Why don't we get threads asking if Ruiz Jr. is more like Chris Arreola or Odlanier Solis?
