Probably. Arum is going to milk Chavez Jr's development for all it's worth and it certainly looks like it's still got some worth to it. Overall it was a pretty good fight. 98-92, 96-95, 96-94 for Chavez Jr.
What the **** does that mean? Really. It should be a split decision? You want the judges to disagree? That is such a stupid ****ing argument that you hear all the time on ESB. atsch Call it a draw, or it's a win for either guy. Calling for a SD or MD is the most ******ed thing to ask for in scoring.
He deserves to be on it. John Duddy vs JCC Jr is being talked about. Arum just said that he's considering JCC Jr vs Manny Pac is being considered atsch
Arum calls out Duddy, DLH, and Pacquiao on Chavez's behalf. Chavez says "Yes those fights motivate me" No mention of a Cuello rematch. Cuello took him no less life and death than Vanda in the first fight, yet doesn't deserve the same second chance?
Agreed. Although I still think Cuello's style is predicated to losing more than winning. The turtle shell works well to score defensive points but unlike King Arthur, Joshua Clottey or Winky Wright, Cuello doesn't have the "oomph" on his punches to get the judges attention on offense. He still deserves another shot. Duddy vs JCC Jr or Duddy vs Alphonso Gomez would be great.
this was a pretty close fight could be for Chavez or cuello ... im not a pro judge so i can see a judge scoring from Chavez and other one for cuello.. btw...never the judges give the same rounds the same scores...
