    Brook
    Spence
    Thurman
    (Crawford at 147)
    (Unretired pac)
    Khan
    Garcia
    Porter
    Bradley

*list is who I think are best... not based on entirely on resume, my eye test factors in. I also think it's close and see so many 50/50, 60/40 fights that could be made.

He's the number 1 ranked WW due to retirements by Floyd and Pac.

It's close between Brook and Thurman though.

The welterweights have to fight each other to prove who's the best WW. Right now the candidates to be the best WW are Brook, Spence, and Thurman. None of these guys can claim they're the best "WW", until they beat each other. Thurman can claim he has the best resume though.

Either Brook or Thurman imo. Leaning slightly towards Brook.

    I probably rank them

    Brook
    Thurman
    Bradley
    Porter
    Garcia

But there isn't a whole lot in it. When Pac returns he's probably gonna go in as number 1 and I imagine Brook will leave the division full time now.

    Put it this way.

The top guys in 147 All turned down offers to fight Brook.

He is the most avoided fighter at 147 no doubt

You obviously can't say with any certainty until they all fight each other. If you ask me who I think is the best at 147, I would say Brook but it's very close and very difficult to pick one.

When people say Brook is the best at 147 they are saying it as an opinion, not a fact, and they are entitled to do that.

Spence is not really in the discussion at the moment, talent wise he may well be the best but for me Algieri win is not enough to put him at the top yet.

    Lol, no.

Most people who have him at number 1 is simply due to personal opinion/bias.
