He's a frontrunner. Early on his punches have crazy speed and good power. Later on, it more shoe shining than anythnig else. For proof, just see how both maidana and Peterson walk him down after the initial rounds. When he picks his shots late he can get some respect. He caught Peterson with some good uppercuts when he was bending down with his head.
He flails his arms like he's Pac and doesn't get the leverage he should. At the same time, it's obvious casual observers couldn't notice Peterson's subtle defense. He wasn't taking any real clean shots for much of that fight if watched carefully.
We have already covered this he has one legit KO on his record. He has ZERO power and throws amateur pitter pat punches at his opponents gloves. It is pitiful.

I wouldn't say feather fisted but he's certainly no puncher. He never was to be honest, I've seen practically all his fights and even when he was fighting cans on undercards here he was winning by KO's that were referee stoppages due to his flurries, he hasn't laid to many out cold that I can remember.

Khan is a rangy puncher who was taught to box tall and box on the move. Jab, one-twos, fast combos and get out. Another fella that since having tasted the canvas, touches them and moves aside. They don't want to be tested and Khan didn't look forward to be tested against Maidana, it simply happened and he held on. That is my take.
Out of 10 his power is a 6.5, its the zip and snap in his punches that do the damage, he isnt featherfisted by any means, i think in the 9th he buzzed Peterson whilst breathing out of his arse, not bad imo.
Don't agree. Feather fisted yeah. Questionable chin. But ain't no coward. He got KTFO because when he got clipped, he tried to show he was the man and jumped straight back in when the best thing was try to survive and regroup.
