On what planet? Williams was staggered multiple times by Tyson early on, and if Tyson hadn't suffered a leg injury during the fight, he'd probably have finished the job. On the other hand, Lewis was so dominant that Tyson could barely touch him.
Lennox Lewis is not overrated. Rank (it’s not an easy job) the 5 most significant Lewis wins; it's impressive: 1. Evander Holyfield (as much as the judge's decision was controversial in the second fight, so it was in the first fight) 2. Mike Tyson (at the time of the match Lewis is 10 months older than Mike Tyson) 3. Vitali Klitschko 4. Frank Bruno 5. Michael Grant (31-0 before fight with Lewis) Honorable mentions: Andrew Golota, Ray Mercer (if Lewis deserved to win this fight, then so be it 115:115, 116:114, 116:114), Donovan Ruddock, David Tua, Tony Tucker, Shannon Briggs (current lineal champion), Tommy Morrison, Mike Weaver... Lewis avenged every defeat in his career. Lewis is the last undisputed champion. Lewis retired as lineal champion. Lennox Lewis is not overrated.
Based on what triangle theories? Or thoughts from a guy on the internet? Lewis's resume has far more quality on it than Vlad. That isn't me spouting nonsense it's a consensus opinion. Vlad needed his big brother to rematch some of his losses. Also I rate Sasha highly but the fact is he was never number 1 in his own timeframe so to assume he walks through everybofy in a stronger era simply doesn't hold water. Byrd is a tough fight stylistically and made evryone look bad due to his style however that isn't a given either. Vlas best wins are solid but once we move down the list a little the quality dtops of sharply.
he was laughing at rahman after he got clipped by a right hand before he got knocked out, he was already stunned before the knockout at near 1:25 of round 5, he laughed after rahman went forward jabbing then turned his body trying to get out of the way then got hit. He was way too arrogant as a fighter, even with holyfield he got caught hard one time.
you must have a short memory... Lewis was stripped of the WBA belt for refusing to fight the No1 contender John Ruiz, stripped of the IBF belt for refusing to fight No1 contender Chris Byrd and stripped of the WBC belt for refusing to fight Vitali Klitschko.. Lewis promised the world that he would face Vitali in a return fight yet waited unto 3 days before he was to be stripped of the WBC belt and announced his retirement. Lewis was champion in 92 and throughout the 90s he avoided every other fighter who held a version of the heavyweight title. Holmes, Sanders, Jones Jr., Ruiz, Tyson, Foreman, Holyfield, Moorer, Wlad Klitschko, Bowe Lewis turned down $13.5 Million and a guaranteed world title fight to face Mike Tyson in 1996 when he was No1 contender for the WBC title, he accepted $4 million step-a-side money so that Tyson could continue to unify the title by getting Bruce Seldons WBA title.. Lewis knew that he stood little chance against that version of Mike Tyson or he would have said NO to the step-a-side money and went ahead and accepted a career highest purse and fought Tyson then himself fought Bruce Seldon.. Lewis spewed out all this propaganda about everyone was afraid to fight him when in fact the offers was always turned down by Lewis..if you believe that all the top fighters was afraid of Lewis then you must also believe there is fairies at the bottom of the garden.
Well in Evander's case I disagree. He was past it. Tyson and Lewis are around the same age though.. As you stated Lewis beat top level fighters including, Tua, Briggs, Mercer, Bruno, Tucker, Ruddock, Vitali , Rahman and for the most part he beat them pretty easily.
