Hell the **** no ! He beat a shot Tyson and imo split with Holy ..And Rahman are you kidding ? Lets not forget about the man who knocked Rahman through the ropes ..Does that make him great as well ?
Golota had [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lidocaine[/ame] for[ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tendonitis"][/ame] tendonitus in his right knee
He looked beatable, but didn't lose. The guy only wanted a Tyson rematch or RJJ, wasn't hungry anymore, had been talking about retirement for years. He prepares for Kingpin, 2 weeks before the fight choses Vitali as an opponent, one of the most dominant HW's and a H2H handful for most HW's in history. Vitali is prime and motivated, sure he'd also been preparing for some bum but unlike Lewis was young and determined and treated each opponent with respect with regards to preperation. Lewis got in there and showed the heart of a lion and imo was coming on strong whereas Vitali was looking weak. But that doesn't matter, Lewis took his face appart, it's a massive win.
I'm not saying Lewis didn't win. The result is clear. Lewis didn't look impressive and was being outboxed. As far as coming on strong, there is no evidence of that. He was losing the fight and won on cuts. That's never a huge win in my book.
He's totally underated for sure, he simply doesn't get a fair shake here anyway! I'd hve him up there with the very best of them..
