It was no secret Salido was moving up after the Loma fight. He dilibrately missed weight. Punk move. That was Loma's fight to lose. I believe Loma wanted to prove that Salido's weight wouldn't be an issue and fought to Salido's strengths. No way the Loma that made Walters and Rigo quit loses to that version of Salido in a million years. Boy needs to get his pride under control.

Of course he is. Anyone who says different is letting jealousy and hate get in the way

He’ll go down as ATG absolutely. The hardcore boxing fans will revisit the 2-time Gold medalist’s pro footage and be at awe at his skills and his compact resume. Ukraine kids will grow up learning from Lomachenko.

I dont care how many fights he has. Look at his quality over quantity and look at the skill level he performs at. Have you ever tried to do some of the thinks he can do in the gym? I dont just mean in front of a mirror I mean with a guy in front of you looking to take you apart. Yea you dont know s about boxing

Nobody is suggesting Loma does not have the skill to be a ATG thats obvious. A fighter needs the resume. Its not one or the other, it does not work like that.

Well, while for fans posting in internet formal loss vs Salido matters a lot, for Loma this did not had impacted his career negatively.

What there was? Some just ukrainian guy in U.S and what he needs to get good paychecks and attention?
Only road is to get title belt, thing worshiped by western media and fans.
    1. The Salido fight already was Loma's win after Salido had missed weight.
Loma maybe even knew that this means that if he will fail to win this one, he will get next title fight asap.

Unlike if Salido had made weight in in norm and their fight had ended with a draw for example, not alone if with Salido win on cards.
Even with a draw with Salido IF he had make weight, Salido title defense had been successful !

This means that most likely Loma had get his next title fight not in next fight! Maybe he had recovered after 2-4 fights to get next title fight.

While If Salido did not made weight in limit, this despite he had been declared as a winner by judges, did not had made successful title defense fight. ;)
This means that boxing org should had ordered next title fight for Loma despite he formally had lost fight vs Salido on judges cards.

They did what they should do in such case and Loma get next title fight.
Cos Salido was stripped for not making weight before fight vs Loma, they had ordered Loma to fight vs next opponent. For title.

Loma fights for title vs next opponent and there he is an underdog and wins fight.
If bearing in mind that for Salido fight he too had get paycheck, then Salido did not had impacted Loma career so much like ppl are thinking.

While IF Salido had weighted in in norm, then if Loma get a draw or lost on cards, this had seriously impacted Loma's further career.

He’s already accomplished things that may never be broken…and he’s not retiring any time soon. He’s gonna fight on at least a few years more and keep whipping asses.

Salido should have been DQ’d or lost several points for low blows and in turn, would have lost the fight and Loma would have set a record for least fights to a title.

You most likely are from U.S.
No one in europe cares nor about HOF nor ATG talks for sure.
It is irrelevant. Okey, in U.S this is cool stuff, that's all.
