You can easily just switch it and say that there's too much at risk to try and coast when you've got a broken nose and losing rounds to an undefeated fighter. I also just don't think its in a professional fighters mentality to think "hey I just got my ass handed to me in that round, lets get ****ed up again in the next one for a laugh"

I do think he got more than he bargained for, but his motivation would be for more than a laugh. And I don't think he really got ****ed up in any of the rounds other than possibly having his nose broken early, and I don't think he was in any real danger at any point in the fight.

I wasn't directly referring to last nights bout. I think were just gonna have to agree to disagree on this one

    It won't work!!!!

You have to at least pick yourself up twice or be 'FLOORED" twice to be considered hungry lion.

I gotta agree with the poster. He was in cruise control against Barker and it looked deliberate. The
moment he turned it up, Barker got dropped

Sergio is not that good where he can go easy on his opponent. He gets highly overrated, he is a good fighter but he is very flawed.

yeah its not like he majorly adjusted. Barker ran out of steam and was unwilling to throw back after took handful of big shots. he really did look bothered in there but i think people are being massively disrespectful to Barker whose high guard and straight sharp right hands did bother sergio.

the guys on sky tv were saying Barker is in good position to make a name for himself. with his style and lack of rep he could suffer to get fights. he'd be considered low reward high risk. hopefully not he surprised me last night.

dead on. he fought a great fight used his size well to bother Martinez who isnt a massive mw. i think sergio would be better suited to 154 if he can make weight easily.

to much at stake, he can make money without those two although not as much, he would make a lot less if he ran into something fighting baker.
