Too late. He already ran all the way to retirement from a De laHoya rematch. But we might see Mayweather fight one more time.

his dad hasn't trained him in how many years? roger is floyd jr's trainer and Sr. knows that. there's validity in Mayweather not taking ANY fights without his uncle, PERIOD.

Nah man, based on resumes, that's clearly Pacquiao's plan.

Especially since Margarito will easily generate at least 150k buys alone from Mexican fans who'll pay to see him fight anyone with a name. Nobody flocks to Mosley PPV's. He was a wingman to Mexican fight fans when he fought Margarito and a wingman to Puerto Rican fight fans when he fought Cotto.

floyd is about money, he's goin go oversea's and take the dumb europeans money who throw out cash for trash like haye/harrison and fight coke heads brother...then once he gets his feet back into euro money he's goin want to fight glass jaw and keep it all within the golden gayboy

If Roger goes away for 5 years, does that mean Floyd has to retire or sit out those 5 years?

I wouldnt be surprised if Floyd retires.

This may actualy be the best option for him short term. At least the media leaves him alone. Long term though his legacy is going to suffer bad, he would be a blip on the radar like a Terry Norris.

oh ok, you got me there.

I worded my previous comment wrong but Floyd Jr. wont not take any fights right now while Roger's fate is up in the air. If Roger does go to jail for 5 years, he might fight during those 5 years but again he might not. Like Naazim Richardson says, he's a talented coward. I say inside and outside the ring. But if his ex-***** bleeds him dry, security guards, attorneys etc. takes a piece of Money's "cake" or he just simply blows a good chunk of it living his lifestyle during Roger's 5 year bid I say Floyd Jr. takes his Dad on for his trainer and fights matches no one wants to see so they regain chemistry and test the waters. Maybe against Paul Malignaggi or some ****.
