The last 8th grader he fought was De La Hoya. And if that was in the school yard, mother ****ers woulda been yellin "hit him *****" at Floyd. So I don't know if that's a good example. I think that might have been one of Floyd's worst fights, especially considering De La Hoya was so gassed that that they had an ambulance on stand by just in case his heart exploded, and you got Roger Mayweather yellin in Floyd's ear to light the mother ****er up. So like I said, I don't know if that's a good example.
I havn't seen Mayweather underestimate an opponent to date, so I doubt he will underestimate Mosley...he always turns up in the best possible shape, with the best possible strategies.

PBF doesn't underestimate anyone. He comes into fights 100% mentally prepared and in top shape. You mistake his self confidence as a sign of underestimating Mosley. By your definition I guess Shane is underestimating PBF to because he says he will win as well.:-(

Shane doesn't have nearly the amount of hype surrounding him that Mayweather does. I think most people are dismissing Mosley as of having no chance, and as Shane said, this is evident by the way people are talking about Pac-Mayweather as if Mayweather already won the fight. I didn't say that Mayweather WAS underestiming Shane, I asked if he was. To me, it's definitely a possibility given the circumstances.
Floyd's ego is too big to let him do anything other than prepare ridiculously hard. It's like Ali in his prime, he talked too much **** to lose.
I'm not totally dismissing Shane Ive said from the jump that Mosley is a harder fight for PBF than Pac will be. His reach, strength and toughness make him a dangerous foe indeed.

I very highly doubt Floyd is underestimating Mosley: 1. Floyd talks **** to sell fights, he also is talking **** to get into Mosley's head 2. Floyd is a professional, even though he acts like a child 3. All reports about Floyds preparation and his camp have not only been good, but great.
