Are you just going to repeat the same stupid lines over and over? Are you a 13 year old?

I read your original post. It wasnt alis fault williams suffered a gunshot wound, and it wasnt his fault folley was 11 years old. Both were legitimate, world class rankesd opponents and he did what he was supposed to do.

-Still waiting for you to explain how you knock 3 iron chinned guys out without having punching power (and being the only one to do it)

-Still waiting for you to address the fact NOBODY just walked through alis punches.

-Still waiting for you to address all the lumpy faces, bruises, and cuts of Alis opponents if he supposedly lacked power.

So the ref is supposed to just stand there and wait for the guy to lose all his teeth or have brain damage?

Does this joker not realize that in order for your opponent to be too tired to raise their arms and defend themselves, it requires that you beat the crap out of them prior to the stoppage? And that it requires at least some power to make them that tired and groggy in the first place?

By his logic the ref should have allowed frazier to just wail away at poor chuvalos bloody face with his eyeball hanging hey--its not like the guy was hurt, he was still standing...!

You didnt address anything. This is typical anti ali rhettoric. You dont win a debate by simply repeating yourself.

If you dont want to debate, fine. Go back to jacking off to Anthony Joshua pics in your other tabs.

You said Ali stopped Liston and Foreman who have iron chins. I pointed out that had nothing to do with Ali's punching power which I pointed out in my original post. Liston Quit because of a shoulder injury in first fight, and the second fight the referee called off the fight without even giving a count, both have nothing to do with Ali's punching power. I answered the Foreman one to in my original post. It is only you asking me to repeat myself. You have yet to do anything to dispute my original post, or show Ali ha being punching power against real decent heavyweights.

Can you not see how ridiculous you are?
Saying both stoppages had nothing to do with Ali's punching power.
Was he hitting both of them guys with feather dusters?
Did you see the state of Liston's face when he quit on his stool? He was busted up.
Unless the referee had been hitting him in there I can only think the "feather fisted" Ali must have been responsible.
As for Foreman yes he punched himself out, but Ali had been popping him with counters while backed up on the ropes and in the corners all night, and he took him out with a big right hand.
    Have you watched these fights?

With the ammount of handspeed Ali had and being a big guy, I think he punches way harder then people think.

Clearly, never seen such a lack of power from a HW as Chris Byrd,
I swear I literally can't remember a knockout of anyone of note,
except Jimmy Thunder (who isn't noteworthy)

It comes down to his own style which was moving backwards or circling, punching like this takes power away from the punch unless someone runs into it or he leans back and they fall unbalanced forward. He had a decent punch when he planted his feet but even he knew he was not a power puncher and relied on accumulitive damage.Pound for pound he was not a hard puncher at all. Ali fought J.young aggressively and struggled severly, that style was not built for him bc he never had to use it.Not blocking punches but leaning away from them also hampered his power bc it made it difficult to set up power shots properly.

“Ali couldn’t bust a grape,” said Foster. “It was his weight that had me down, but I wobbled him, I hurt him and I could have beaten him.” Ali was 41lb heavier, Foster a measly five pounds above the light-heavyweight limit. The veteran trainer and fight guru, Freddie Brown, who was Rocky Marciano’s cutsman, said of Foster: “With the light-heavies he was a killer; the heavyweights just took his punches like they was nothing.”

The above is for ANYONE telling me SIZE doesnt matter and some other absurd matches Ali would have likely won .

Yes if Ali hits you ALOT it will start to hurt and even knock the better fighters out but that has nothing to do with power. Was he the lightest hitting champion? Probably not bc im sure i could dig up lighter guys from the past that would surley have not hit as hard but were labled as killer punchers coinciding with their era,i am also going by 70's Ali who had more pop in his punches.

I Think power is a Little bit more than just speed+weight. (But combined they are the most important factors of course)

Take Golovkin as an example of what im trying to say. He weights about the same as the others. He is not really a speedster but he still sends them to the canvas on a regular basis.

I think he is very rigid built in his body. No weakpoints really. Thinking of wrists. Torso and such when the power goes thru his body.

Also after the impact. His body doesnt twitch as much. So the power doesnt get lost (right after the impact)

Power is not just weight+acceleration I would like to point out something like "power transmission" aswell.

If you have a chain of steel that is equal in weight and size as an solid object like a steel pipe for example. The pipe is more likely to transmit all of its energy into the impact object because it has no links that twitches and losing energy by doing so.

Do you know what im trying to say?

english sux but i try my best.

Golovkin is built like a solid object but ali was more like a chain of seperate parts put together.

But Bob Foster relied on power, if that wasn't working for him against the bigger guys then he was struggling, he never had the strength or particularly outstanding skills to fall back on against the bigger fighters to bridge the size and strength gap.
Ali never had to rely on power and mentally he wasn't a fighter who was programmed for the knockout, he was quite happy to outbox opponents to a decision, he was akin to Mayweather in that respect.
However for anyone to remotely suggest that he was feather fisted though simply shows a lack of boxing knowledge.
They would need to ask Foreman, Liston, Bonavena, Lyle or Shavers if they thought Ali was feather fisted.
