when I see people saying stuff like Manny Pacquio will stop Oscar De La Hoya, I don't understand where this logic comes from at all, Manny isn't faster than a prime sugar shane and doesn't have anywhere near the power and oscar dealt with that, Oscar has never ever been stopped or even close to being stopped except for that one occassion when he was fighting Hopkins who is naturally about 3 or 4 weight classes above Oscar. I'm no Oscarsexual but it doesn't take much logic to see Oscar De La Hoya, the same man who stopped Fernando Vargas, Ricardo Mayorga, And Julio Cesar Chavez will do the exact same to Manny Pacquio and if Oscar doesn't win by anything other than KO he damages his legacy irreparably

Interesting mention in regards to suge shanes speed because pacmans speed will determine the fight IMO.

I believe Shane Mosley had about equal one punch and combination hand-speed as manny pacquio, how will Pacquio cope with DLH's left hook? Don't be fooled by some of the posters on the site DLH has still got some decent hand-speed left as was evidenced against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

this is a stupid fight to begin with. seems like its just a false hope to do something great for pac. in no way can i imagine pac beating oscar. just too big and can still move. pac should get ate coming in unless his jab dominates which i dont see happening. cant imagine oscar being underrated in this fight. we shall see the outcome tho!

There's only a real small portion of people who think Pacquiao will win (especially stop) DLH. And a lot of those feel it's because DLH will be weak from making 147, not because they are "underrating" his ability.

also, majority of the pacfans think that he will lose this fight, including myself.

Why?? Oscar has moved up many weight divisions and fought blokes like Hopkins who were much bigger, it's time he gets to dine out on smaller men trying to do what Oscar has.

Besides good money for both thrown in doesn't hurt.

I'm worried that Pac might be taken out within 3 rounds.
But if some miracle Pac will be able to withstand Oscars Punches then Party time for the Pinoys :)

You have to remember that they are fighting at catchweight where Pac has the advantage. Oscar going down at 147 may slow him down and affect his stamina. Pac is hoping Oscar will get tired in the early rounds thru body shots and go for the kill in the later rounds.
