I turned it of halfway through last night because it was just rehashing things we know about these fighters,Its a fight i just cant get excited about has any of the sceptics on here changed there opinion since the fight was announced or since the 24/7 series began?
I watched about 5 minutes of it. Like you said, I just can't get excited about this fight. You'd have to give me free ringside seats and pay for my flight and stay out to Vegas and throw in some money for gambling while I'm out there to get me interested in this fight.
It's decent.. but there's not bad guy. Even when DLH bitches about his ex-trainers he doesn't seem all that sincere about it.
People would find a 24/7 series interesting if the two guys were completely different characters, or had something that an audience hadn't seen before. i.e. Mayweather running red lights whilst not looking at the road, Hatton conducting a press conference in a back street cafe etc etc
Ive liked this one so far, though I thought Calzaghe/Jones one was awful. A bit about Jones and his dad and Joe with his "I wanna retire undefeated" stuff. Pac taking the **** out of his fat mates was funny!
its ok but i hate oscar acting towards the camera to hype up the fight loll its comical. Oscar seems too crafty, even his fight with floyd mayweather seems abit suspicious to me. To me it looked like it was deliberatly made to look like a close fight so there could be a rematch for the $$$$ and there almost was until they realised that nobody wanted a rematch between them. Anybody who disagree, think about it..it was a split decision..why did nobody want to see a rematch?
I like this 24/7, but it could be because I'm a Pac fan.. When the segment is on DLH however, I'm not so interested.. I just really don't like listening to him talk.. I figured the series was going to show some of their tours like in NYC or Chicago and some other stuff like that.. Adding in some small things as well would have been nice such as when Roach had DLH's picture taped on his stomach when doing the mitts or like how Pac just sent DLH a choc. cheese cake and seeing DLH getting angry and pounding the cake with his bare hands.. All in all, this series isn't bad.. I like it..
Its not been bad certainly better than the awful Jones-JC series. Its clear the best in the series have been the ones w/ Floyd.
For me living in denmark,is it really great to see some of the backgrounds things. I really wasn´t to exited when they made the fight.But after i have watched some of the documentories,i think it´s a huge fight!!!!I won´t tell who i pick before the day before the fight.
