Of course, no fighter is going to be good at everything.

Also, Pacquiao's near the end of his career, and is pretty ingrained into his style. I would think it's too late for him to fix his flaws. I mean, you don't fix flaws in your style in one training camp.

True. And not every fighter is going to be an ATG, in spite of that. That's the point.

It doesn't matter too much, because Pacquiao's had good longevity considering his style. He's stayed at the top longer than most fighters who use a similar style.

Actually, I think it's remarkable that Floyd and Pacquiao are both near the end of their careers, and are both still considered 2 of the best fighters in the sport.

I agree. It's certainly not something to focus too much on now, for Manny. He only has a few fights left, and only one that really matters. His experience and certainly his natural gifts make up for any shortcomings. It will take a special fighter to make him pay for them.

It's now or never for a Floyd-Manny fight, because neither of them are going to be in the sport much longer. I would say they both have 1, maybe 2 fights left.

I agree. I don't want to see either guy in with anyone else, right now. And I think both are starting to feel it on the financial end.

Pac has extraordinaire foot work, blinding hand speed, unorthodox/difficult to anticipate feints and weird combinations. His ability to neutralize jabs with his right hand or with a slip/straight left counter tends to confuse most fighters.
Only Marquez has found the way to neutralize Pac´s strange stlye. If Pac was as one dimensional as some people claim, he would not have the names he has on his resume.
He´s not KOing fighters now, but has dominated 2 undefeated champions in a row. Neither Bradley or Algieri or Oscar or Cotto or Mosley or Barrera were considered one dimensional. How couldn´t they defeat Manny?

Algieri isn't that good, Oscar was old, and Cotto was weight-drained.

There is nothing wrong with being one dimensional when it is more than enough to dispatch 99% of your opponents. Fighters should always stick to what works for them

Pacquiao is the ultimate brawler. Lighting fists, solid chin, obscene stamina, non traditional punching angles and style. That is his dimension.

I'd say it has a lot to do with it.....but he also puts in the work and has a special set of skills that enhance the style only he has.

People really need to appreciate that fighters like Floyd and Bhop rely on their skills alot. Pac has been dominating very hard using a super aggressive style relying on some serious top drawer physical attributes and a skillet tailored around those attributes. His fight with marg was eye opening in that regard as marg hit the dude with some bombs in that fight but pacquiao still fought fire with fire. Pacquiao does the most damage when fighters exchange with him just like most brawlers. This isn't Roberto Duran with those silky moves on the inside. Pac exchanges bombs and more recently is getting hit hard. Amazing how he has gone this far. It's fairly freakish actually that he can still go to war with guys this big.
