The way those two stacked the cards in their favours is documented out there
I don't need to go in to it

Also by having terrible and boring fights
TV companies were walking away from the HW title fights
Think about that, almost unheard of

They were quite frankly bollocks to watch

Well, just because you didn't enjoy watching them, doesn't mean everybody did. Look at the viewership and PPV they sold. The interest was just fine. Plus boxing is not a popularity context. I'm only interested in champions fighting the best available opposition and Wlad did that 100%.

How was it fine when companies worldwide had no interest??

Boxing unfortunately is a popularity contest to an extent

    Shambles of an era

I'm reminded of something allegedly said by Don King to Larry Holmes...its not my fault people would rather watch Muhammad Ali watch you fight than watch you fight... it's all about the dollars and cents..if it don't make no dollars, it don't make no sense...that one was Mike Dokes...

What do you mean worldwide? Klitschko and Haye sold similar amount of PPVs to Lewis vs Holyfield. Wlad's fights were being watched by dozens of millions around the world. Germany was a big market for boxing. What you mean is, USA companies had no interest, because they were butthurt that no American heavyweight could carry Wlad's jockstrap.

    UK had no interest either

From my recollection, it was reported many walked away

Germany they made their home and fair play to them

Still the era of doom however

    Absolutely terrible

That's your opinion, but as I showed, viewership and P4P numbers was there. So it wasn't that terrible after all to the boxing public.

    It was awful

Which is why Fury was such a hero worldwide for taking out Wlad

    You told me

    I didn't see numbers?

I know in Germany and Poland the viewership was good but don't recall reading much about PPV

His style was also incredibly boring too
Good at what he did but was boring to watch

Eastern European viewers watched him but that was enough to satisfy his own needs, not boxings

It's my opinion Im fully aware of that

But it's one many people share from what I read

    Almost destroyed HW boxing

I hope we never see a period of time like it again

I was a boxing fan during those years

Wlad's style was HATED worldwide and almost sank the sport.

I'm talking about his STYLE - not the man himself

    Don't forget,
Parker also fought the biggest puncher in the history of the sport.

Thats shamefull whats happening to parker. Bakole if he beats ajagba will be sooner in title contention than parker at this point.
