There were pics of the hand in Ring Magazine, and on the internet. We also saw video where KP showed the hand. It looked nasty. The fact that the infection lingered on so long was probably alcohol related. Alcohol diminishes the efficacy of antibiotics.

That could be, but apart from the occassional "fat drunk," most alcoholics are underweight and malnourished.

There hasn't been any news at all, but that is not unusual. Treatment centers are bound by some pretty "secretive" legal and professional ethics. If you called the Betty Ford Center right now, they wouldn't even tell you if KP is there or not. I assume he is because if he were crawling around Youngstown drunk, that would show up somewhere in the media.

Early on there was a reference to a 90 day program. That would mean he'll finish the first week of February. Nutrition and physical fitness are a routine part of the program, so he should come out in pretty good shape. God only knows what he'll weigh.

Is Pavlik actually a confirmed alcoholic? I must have missed that. Damn.

He's in the Betty Ford Center for the second time. The first time he got out 10 days before the Martinez fight.
