is pavlik ducking williams?

You can argue the point until your blue in the face, but we all know the story about walking and qucking dont we:hey

It looks like Kelly is ducking Williams, so if he is or isnt really doesnt matter. and if the fight doesnt happen it will be laid on the doorstep of Kelly almost no matter what happens from this point on. Once people get thier minds made up they dont change it that often.

I dont think that Kelly is ducking Williams, but as I said it sure in the **** looks like it, now that he was so ready to go once he saw the fight with Martinez even makes it look worse, having seen Williams hurt for the first time and have the toughest fight of his career.

It just dont look good, and in boxing looks go along way.

 

Then why is Goosen saying Paul never signed the contact for the Dec. 5 fight? He also didn't sign the one prior to Bhop. That is twice Kelly signed to fight Paul that Paul didn't sign. How you gonna spin that one?

 

Around 80% of aussie boxing fans dont like Mundine :deal

They would say anything to make him look bad.

The Geale Mundine fight at 160 for the IBO title was a great fight and it was close....however Mundine won by 1 or 2 rounds....he dropped Geale in the second...that was the difference.

For the record Geale would beat Espino quite easy...he's a 2002 Commonwealth Games Gold winner at 154 I think.

 

Come on man, that crap may work with some people but not me. You have no clue as to the interworkings of boxing so dont make it sound as if you do. Often fighters dont sign the actual contract until days before the fight, its been that way in boxing since the Ray Robinson days, who would often not sign until he arrived at the arena the night of the fight. What fighters sign is agreements to fight and not the actual contract. At any rate they agreed to fight and every thing was ago until Kelly pulled out. Had that been pavlik, waiting you wouldnt even have the same stance.

I've seen Geale and Espino exactly one time each so really can't make an educated opinion on that fight. Espino turned out to be a scrappy if not unintelligent fighter. I think adrenalin carried him for a while so that would make it harder to judge how he would do against anyone else.

Hard to think 80% dislike him considering the gates and the fact the broadcast crews seem to be on his side. The broadcasters form the opinion of 99.9% of the boxing public.

 

Try again. Paul's supporters claim Paul didn't pull out of the first fight because there was no CONTRACT. These are the words Goosen just repeated. You can't have it both ways. Kelly signed two contracts that Paul didn't. So how is it Kelly is ducking Paul? That is the thread theme. Isn't the little wavy hand so cute....:-(

 

The crowd turns up to see him get KTFO :deal

I was at a venue 7 years ago (Brisbane, Australia) watching Mundine fight the Kiwi national champ.........big KO round 3....the Kiwi is out cold.....about 10 people cheered....about 400 people walked out in 5 minutes.

ESB Aussie boxing forum if you took a survey of what they think of Mundine 80% would say hate him, 10% would say hes got some good skills and the other 10% would say hes great.

Williams did back out of a contract with Pavlik. Pavlik has called out Williams, so where is Williams now?

Martinez sure kicked Williams' arse! Good thing Williams owned the criminal judges! And........Martinez did not even have time to train for the fight! Imagine if he had?!

 

I've heard the same **** from Williams fans for over a year. Paul didn't duck Kelly pre Bhop because there was no signed contract. I'm not going to let this go both ways. Is that really too hard for you to understand? If that applied to the last time, it applies to this time. Simple as.... I just want the Paul Williams fans to use ONE standard here.

Who....Espino or Mundine?

If Espino......I dont care other than to say I thought Pav would take a tune up fighter that may give him a bit of what PW will bring.

If Mundine....Pav v Mundine would be huge for aussie boxing and also a great fight as Mundine has good evasion skills, nice speed and can run quite fast :yep

It would be very interesting fight to see how Pav would go with Mundines speed amd to see how long Mundine can avoid getting KTFO

 

i can't blame Pavlik for wanting a tune up before the Williams fight. With a staph infection, especially in his hand, you have to be very careful that it didn't result in arthritis or severe inflammation of the bones. It's a very serious condition for a fighter to have a staph infection of the hand.

Kelly called out Paul Williams, not because he saw the Martinez fight, but because the "ducking" rumor is absolutely ridiculous. Pavlik could never use anything in the Martinez fight to study the flaws of a fighter like Paul Williams. That fight is irrelevant. Pavlik is incapable of emulating a fighter like that...it has no bearing in his gameplan against Williams.

 

If that is what passes for boxing there, I guess.... I'd rather see someone with the balls of Espino who comes to fight.

 

So now your just making a point?? Bottom line is Kelly pulled out of the fight stating he was unable to fight yet fought, it doesnt look good no matter how much backroom information you think you may have. Truth is you dont know ****, except what you read on some article. I dont care if the contracts were signed or not they agreed to fight and Kelly back out for whatever reason. This is sad that you go to though this much trouble to try and convince people that what happened didnt really happen.
