http://www.boxingnews24.com/2013/03/schaefer-ricky-burns-manager-turned-down-fight-with-adrien-broner/ I see you ran from this in the other thread!:yep its hard to fight somebody when they turn you down!
We don't hide after a defeat like some fan boys over here who only support their countrymen. And nice way to deflect the topic Are you proud that Ricky struggled to beat a fighter i didn't know existed until yesterday? Scottish all time champions> 13 Puerto Rican Champions 68 Go figure
Burns was lucky tonight. he looked poor out there. maybe it was just an off night (you are allowed them) with him moving to a different stable and being out for a while. Gonzales did well, but you could tell that he was going to get body tired late in the fight. he's good with lots of power on the ends of his fists, but he's going to have to try and resolve the stamina issue if he wants something to happen for him. he'll be dangerous for anyone out there, but power won't be enough for the top guys. you need more to your game. credit to Burns for pushing like a true champ and just getting the win. had Gonzales of continued, he would of been stopped. but he (Burns) was lucky. there's no need for the thread though. you can do it for the Americans who quit (there's enough of them) because they're arrogant and deserve it. but the PR's are cool.
It doesn't matter how, just get the win Ricans just seem to grasp that, they always steal defeat from the jaws of victory. They are ***** made when presented with a real man.
You cannot generalize Puerto Ricans. There have been such great Puerto Rican champions like Benitez, Tito. Gomez, Rosario and Camacho. IThe beating Rosario took against Chavez was terrible and he stayed up and took it all. And Camacho, who was born in Puerto Rico but came here I think very young, he has one of the biggest hearts of anyone in boxing history.
