Jones was faster at 160 and 168(and even 175) than he was at 154 from what I've seen. He looked neither as good nor as fast at 154. At 168 against Pazienza is the best I've seen him look.

Its got nothing to do with the fact that his not a yank.Joe cant even punch with the knuckle of the glove. He routinely gets warned for his slapping.Jones is faster than JC thats not even in question nor even close.

Meldrick Taylor, Ray Leonard, Shane Mosley, Zab Judah. All extremely fast, maybe as fast as Jones, but they were all much smaller. P4P, Jones was the fastest ever, no question. As for Joe Calzaghe, he might have been able to throw flurries as fast as Jones, but he couldn't throw them with power, and Jones could.

You can make a good argument about it.

I think he is the fastest. 130 and 135 pound Mayweather is right up there.

All that u know where very fast, but mostle with the hands. Jones was fast with the hands, footwork, body and reflex. Mayweather is next in line with having quickness in all these departments. 130 and 135 Mayweather of course.

I always thought Taylor was amazingly fast, he threw sustained flurries of punches that overwhelmed.

All comparable to Jones. Extremely fast.
