Bottom line: Sexton cheats, hits the jackpot with Rogan's inexperience and generosity, and then acts like he orchestrated the whole ****ing thing. Arrogant wanker.
Rogan got what he deserved in the first fight. Rogans bully tactics and look at me I'm an hard ******* who just jump on an opponent and rough him up got himself in trouble. The second fight was great.
Just YouTubed it and you're right Sexton did one-two Rogan when Rogan had stopped fighting. **** knows why Rogan stopped fighting (and remained in punching distance) though. VERY unsporting from Sexton but also pretty stupid from Rogan.
Fair enough Rogan should have gone through him but there were other strokes in that round. Sexton turned his back and buried his head in the turn buckle to get away from Rogan - Paris stopped the fight and warned ROGAN! Sexton purposefully spat the gumshield out to give himself even more time. Sexton then pretended that he was either in distress, the fight was over or stopped and dropped his guard and gestured to the ref - Rogan stopped and checked what was going on and when Sexton saw this he started throwing. Thats probably not against the rules but is the sign of a scumbag. Rogan was on the verge of KOing Sexton when the fight was stopped. Then in the post fight Sexton didnt even acknowledge that or want to give Rogan a rematch. When the chips are down you tend to see the real character of a man, we saw Sextons!
Sexton didn't turn his back, he got spun round by punches. Granted the warning to Rogan for punching at the back of the head was harsh given that that was the area that Sexton had presented to him.
Thats the version I've just watched. No way is that a boxer turning his back, Sexton gets wobbled and ends up disorientated facing the wrong way. That part of the fight is exactly how I remember it from fight night.
disorientated enough grab a hold of the turn buckle, bury his head in the padding and hold on for dear life. How anyone can defend the actions on Sexton in that round is beyond me.
What are you watching? The gumshield indicent was naughty but that was just a boxer getting hurt and disorientated, happens all the time. Let me guess, he turned his back, should have been disqualified for it and Rogan declared the winner?
