Froch didn't get destroyed by a guy on the level of Alvarez now did he? He had close fights but he was fighting stiffer competition and still found a way to win most of them but 2. Froch has the better wins of the two fighters hands down he beat a better version of pascal destroyed bute and beat kessler. Kovalev hasnt done anything as great.

Bute was a good win, but he lost everytime he stepped up and SK destroyed a better Pascal than the one Froch went life and death with.

Nope. Ward didn't have a fight at LHW until 2015. Get your timeline right jackass. Froch may have been in the spotlight with the bigger and far more entertaining Groves fights but he wasn't the man because Ward was still at the weight. He if course didn't do **** after the Groves fights after failing to get the kind of money he wanted for a retirement fight so he was never the "man" at 168. Froch fought in a better division than kovalev did. He fought at a time when smw was hot. Kovalev fought at a time when 175 was weak. That's why froch gets more respect and is greater. With that said 175 is alot better now and kovalev isnt done he could still end up being greater if he gets some more quality wins.
