You don’t need size to beat Canelo you will need skills. The person who beat Canelo and outclassed him did not rely on size.
Spence is a top fighter at 147, no doubt. Honestly though, at 160 there are a few that will take his scalp. Canelo being one of them. I reckon that’s why people claim he’s overrated, because there are those that think he’s going to go to 160 and do a job. I’ve seen no evidence of that. In fact, whilst he can obviously box, his biggest weapon is his physical advantages. If he moves to middleweight those are gone, and in fact he’ll be at a disadvantage in those departments for the most part. And while he’s talented, he’s certainly not a generational talent.

A lot of kneejerk reactions. It went from Spence can beat Canelo because he beat Mikey, to Pac will knock Spence out because Porter gave him a tough fight. It's hilarious.
This fight will make Spence better. And they he will do better against Pacman. Porter? He didn't hurt his reputation with that fight although how many of these bruising fights can he have. My guess is he will start to decline after that fight. That was a brutal fight for him and that knockdown was pretty hard.

Spence may of won on points, but Porter won the actual fight in terms of man handling, touching beating up Spence last night.. Spence so hittable plus Canelo since losing to Floyd has improved so much.. Canelo would eat Spence no problem.. Spence needs to stay in his lane.. Right now Crawford PAC or Thurman are all very tough fights for him.. Personally love to see Thurman vs Spence... Since Spence running from Bud.. Lol Garcia is very similar to Spence style slow and flatfooted fighter 50-50 fight..
this is a boxing forum everyone is both extremly underrated and overrated at the same time. I don't think spence is the clear big dog of the division. people see what can work vs him now.
I keep seeing this repeated but Brook was just too fragile to hang with Spence in the end, fight with GGG has no bearing on it.
