Since the best no longer fight each other these days, Errol is up for debate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Then it's just talk because it's not based in fact. It remains, if haven't beaten the best, then you can't be declared the best. It has to be proven.
I honestly can't see Spence hanging around at WW for too long. He'll roll thru the Haymon stable, then into a PPV against Brook once Brook wins a LMW title. Spence has the size and frame to fight at MW right now, coming into the ring near 165. Add 10lbs of lean muscle to him and he'd be blowing out Jacobs, Quillin, Lara and the rest of Haymons MWs faster than he did Algeri. Off ALL the fighters below 175, only Spence, Lubin, and possibly Andrade(if he gets his shiit together again) have a LEGIT chance at beating GGG, especially if he hangs at 160 til he retires.
I want to see what happens to Spence when he gets tagged by a WW who can punch. Nobody has any idea what kind of chin he has and it wont get tested until he gets in there with a guy who can crack.
Pacquiao and Maidana are retired, there is only one active WW with punch power : Thurman....And, I think that Spence has better punch power than him...And, chin, too
He may be a better boxer but he doesn't have the victories to really press that point yet. If we are going by record instead of the eye test he's got a ways to go. Best victories Tim Bradley: Pacquiao, Marquez, Provodnikov, Vargas Danny Garcia: Khan, Guerrero, Malignaggi Kell Brook: Porter Keith Thurman: Guerrero, Chaves Errol Spence: Algieri Khan: Algieri
I'm glad somebody spoke sense. How can errol spence be the best welterweight :S he has 2 noteable wins on his resume, both are very average fighters and neither can punch...
