he was at 143 this morning he would have come in the ring at 150 tonight... Vicente pulling out of the fight does not mean he is a ***** he has to look out for himself, Not all money is good money especially when a young fighter is looking to take advantage of this situation.

Likely Broner wanted to be the first person to knock out Vicente I picked him to win, the refusal of taking off the extra weight just goes to show the classless attitude this kid has, and his posting pictures of junk food he is eating... Come on now he really hasnt done anything yet and he is acting as if he is bigger than the sport.

There is no way you can pin this on Vicente... this is all on Broner at this stage... GBP needs to get their **** in order they have had a rough summer hopefully come the fall we will get some real boxing again.

 

I can't support Broner he ****ed this up. If the fight goes ahead he better finish him in 2 rounds.

broner was given two chances to set it straight and he wants to cheat his way throught it. he should fight guys his own size if he doesn't want to weigh properly.

Escobedo has every right to pull out of the fight; Broner never made the contracted weight, and the ball is in his court. Why would you want to go in there with someone who has such an advantage over you. Honestly, props to him for walking away and not taking the money.

And ****ing LOL @ HBO for spending the last 2 weeks hyping Broner to death as the new Floyd and now they don't even have a fight. Broner has beaten NOBODY at JLW to make him as highly ranked as he is, and they wanted to make him out to be the absolute best and future P4P great because he KO'd Perez, glass jaw Litzau, and got a gift against PDL.

Esco's team did the right thing in calling off the fight. That's not once, but twice Broner has failed to meet their requests. You can't just expect to come in overweight and make things ok by chucking money their way.

 

I honestly feel sorry for the people who purchased tickets.... the fight has been reported off but only by one source, likely there may be some negotiation going on here, another cap? if so give him 145 limit by 5 pm their time

But there was nothing in the contract here. JMM knew the rules of the contract, and Floyd just used it to his advantage. JMM would have known there was a chance that Floyd would miss weight and could afford it.
