It has already happened. And if you lok at their rankings they are much better than the other ABC orgs. But yes we do not need a 5th belt to clutter things up.

Adamek probably didn't pay the sanctioning fee.

As for what Buffer says, he just says whatever the promoters pay him to say.

True. But since the WBA is becoming a joke couldn't it be that the IBO would ever replace the WBA? Than it's still four.

Thats what I said in one of my earlier posts, if we do start reconising the IBO, we have to get rid of eather the WBO, IBF, WBC or WBA. Personally I vote for eather the WBC or WBA.

Wow. Just wow. That's the most ridiculous sounding title I've ever seen. It just needs "Interim" or "Emeritus" stuck in there.

Funny part is, it made me curious to look up Saul Montana... guy fought some credible opponents. Lost them all, but still, saw his action.

If I was a boxer, I would not count myself a true world champion until I was the recognised number one in the division.

WBU and IBO are little more than an excuse for 12 rounds.

WBA and IBF are degraded with 90 day mandatories and superchamps.

I'd want the ring belt, once I had that one I would let even the WBC go!

If I won the WBO, people would say that I did not deserve it and that it was handed to me by my promoter.

Bingo. I respect the rankings. They are far, far better than any of the other governing bodies.

    The belt itself? Hahahaha.

Having said that, I wouldn't actually mind the rest of the governing bodies going away and just having the IBO.

  11. It is the best out of the Minor belts and is pretty close to being recognised imo

They have had some big names sporting the belt around them

Lennox, Toney, RJJ, Wlad, Hatton, Adamek, B-Hop, Dawson etc...

Boxrec dosent say Adamek won the IBO belt but he held it after he beat Banks. Maybe he vacated it after the match?
