Not far fetched by any means

I base my workout on it but a bit less than half, 200 pushups, 400 situps, 200 squats, 100 pullups, 100 dips, 2.5-4 mile jog, 20-40 minutes Cus heavy bag, I try to do it 4 times a week, it only takes about 1.5-2 hours

So considering this was what Tyson lived to the point of dropping out of school, it's actually not that crazy, Rooney used to say they would train 55 hours a week

I think he did have a day off though, which is when he would go get into trouble

Agreed - Google “Mike Tysons routine” on YouTube lots of the “names” with millions of views try to explain it. Notably that “Athlean-X” guy. I remember even hearing it in casual conversation. I tried it as a teen and tore my shoulder up I couldn’t believe a grown man who makes his whole identity about fitness advice would sit there and say “Yes - there is a genius to this” with forgoing common sense and with zero proof. I did the same thing with a Bruno workout but it didn’t catch on… yet

It’s quite literally been proven false. The guy who made it is on this forum.

It takes two hours for Mike to eat oatmeal?

I'd believe in this type of training if it was 3 times a week, seems plausible to me.
By the way, who could do ring work and 60 min on the bike ONE HOUR after eating steak and pasta?!
That stomach had a hell of a way to digest food...

So you do a bit less than half for four days. In other words a fourth of just the jog and calisthenics of this program, and not the four hours of sparring, boxing exercises amd exercise bike every day. That's a world of difference, and still a good work out regimen.

People in the Catskills say he sometimes ate chicken or pork and skipped the pasta entirely on Saturdays. He also had a scoop of ice cream once.

Like with most boxers, you have to take it with a pinch of salt.

I don't know how impossible it is to do that many calisthenics in a day, if spread out properly. I do 12 sets of 30 push-ups as part of a P90X routine which is 45 minutes long. That's 360 right there in less than an hour, and I'm just a scrub.
