    :lol::nut

You are now trying to claim that Valuev is 6'9 rather than seven foot?

Here is a very famous picture of him with 6'2 Ruiz. Is Ruiz's height of 6'2 also a lie? :nut

It will be something like this : the only ones whom may agree to fight Tua will be those at 6'5" and above. I will consider most of them favorites to beat him.
Fighters like Haye , Adamek , Povetkin and Chambers whom stand a very good chance of capturing belts will avoid him forever , especially when they wear those belts or coming close to a title shot.
This is how it has always been.

Haye , Povetkin and Adamek want to be remembered as small men whom competed successfully against the giants and to be paid as such without really doing it.
And the most here actually bring them and their predecessors whom were the same in this aspect as examples to why a superheavyweight division is not needed.
Well , it is needed , especially if weigh-ins will occur in less than a one hour pre fight.
And even if it will finish at all it will only be for a brief period and then resume.
    Size matters.
That's why the the weight classes were introduced in the first place.

Of course it is , just like every other boxrec stat except weights.
And i guess Valuev is closer to 7" than the 6'9.5" i thought as the minimum possible to his height , but everyone's height is exaggerated.
If boxrec claims a stat , take some 1.5% to 2.5% off it , and get the truth. and in reach stats it is even worse.

They are not the best examples to mock boxrec , I guess each one is at least 1 inch beneath the stats.
    High accuracy for boxrec here.
Don't make me repeat the better examples as I know too many.

What's your proof/source for Ruiz being 6'1 rather than 6'2?

The same source I have for knowing your mettle .
constant lying (only by boxrec's behalf this time).

lets hope the whole super heavyweight thing goes away. regardless of how tall they are a fight is rarely a good spectacle if both guys are over 240lb. lennox and bowe were beter under 240. I think bowe came in as low as 218 at one stage and nobody any good is bigger than those two were.

I think the whole "protien shake" generation has spoilt heavyweight boxing. I would like to see specific guideline brought into contracts that ensure that fighters are not fat and carrying excess for the sole reson of laying on and tireing out tactics that resemble sumo wrestling. an optimum weight must be assesed for each individual heavyweight and a guidline of within 20lb of that weight should be set for championship fights. fighters must train as fighters.

nobody in boxing wants a disadvantage. If 240lb pluss fighters with too much weight advantage were forced to wear an extra 2oz in their gloves for evry 12lb they have on an oponent it would stop dead. fighting with 12oz gloves against a guy with 10 oz mits is a disadvantage.

Disagree. You want to eliminate the Sumo ? call for stiffer refereeing .
Enforce the rules or change them.

So, to recap, you've found Boxrec guilty of "constant lying" and so subtract one inch arbitrarily, without source or cause independant of your paranoia, to compensate for the lying?

Such a measure (moderated) is necessary to make it comply with better known facts.

And how do you know that John Ruz is 6'1? How do you know that?

Also, how tall do you think David Tua is?
