Tua is nowhere above 5'9" may be even slightly less.
And Ruiz was no 5" taller than Tua.
I also saw a picture (during fight) where Ruiz is actually shorter than Haye , whom in turn , is no way 6'3".
See ? it all cums to the same place.

So who is taller out of Haye and Ruiz?

How about Vitali? How tall isn't he?

Someone tell me if the answer to the question is hidden somewhere .
Vitali is 6'6" maybe 6'6.5" at best.
I saw an amateur Lewis stat stating he is 6'4.5" .
From what i saw out of their fight no way he is more than 2" over Lewis. slightly less than 2" if anything.

Why do yo think Boxrec perpetuates these lies? What is behind the conspiracy?

Also, any thoughts as to why you are the only teenager on the forum to have uncover the conspiracy?

we all know stiffer refereeing aplys only to the away fighter. If tired guys keep falling into each other or even when they are broken up often enough the pace and the over all spectacle of the match always suffers. take 20lb off most 240 heavyweight and they fight beter. its beter to watch and more effective.

Why won't you use some of your Jason Voorhees' connections and friends in the business and some fellow copy and paste historians
and tell us all why they do it ?
Because I am an intelligent teenager of course.

So everyone should do a Michalczewski-Jones double duck and not fight each other unless the refereeing and judging are chose carefully and fight on neutral grounds alone. Although I don't remember I ever heard a story about nationalist refereeing in the U.S.

I don't think they do do it. You do. I'm asking you why.

Why do Boxrec lie about the heights of every single boxer on the website?

Yeah but Boytsov is still only 24 I think. Don´t know why he is moved so slowly, he looks as if he has big potential but this not stepping up keeps me thinking.

Tyson Fury will knock himself out one day. Never heard about Price. Is he any good?

Very possible. Pulev and Helenius get pushed fast and look really, really good.

Possibly about 4'5'', that´s why he is the greatest hw of all-time.

    Hype
Boxrec get their information from false sources as well.
Don't make me start a long partial list of radical examples.
    It really tickles me.
Next question about it and my reply to it will be long , boring and crushing. Just Don't.

Hype? You think people are more likely to want to watch John Ruiz if he is 6'2 rather than 6'1?

You seem to think that you're breaking news and new ground when you say that Boxrec makes mistakes; everybody who posts on this board, withot exception, knows this.

The reason you are so interesting is that you are the only person I have ever spoken to who thinks there is a conspiracy afoot to label all fighters 1-3 inches taller than they are

    Astonish me, idiot.

I sure hope Helenius would become the next great heavyweight but I can't see it. I've followed him since the amateurs and his pro debut and expect him to do well, but he hasn't shown the ability of a Klitschko for example. He is a super heavyweight in size though, 6'6 and around 245 pounds.

If he does fight for the title, it would be the first time a boxer of Finnish heritage has fought for the title since Olli Mäki was KO'd by Davey Moore in two rounds for the world featherweight title.

Apparently he's in the mix for top ten pound for pound honours.

And not during his own peak, either (which would have been seen as ridiculous) but ever.

Hm, his defence is lacking but he looks very well with his offence and it seems as if he has a very good chin. He took Brewsters punches and didn´t even flinch. I think he can do very well and will win a title. He is still developing in the pro game. Damned, Helenius-Pulev could be a great fight in a few years.

I know, frankenfrank is like the original Jack Dempsey. Non-pareil ... just not in boxing but in beeing a joke.

    :hey

Bernard Hopkins : boxrec : 6'1" , against Dennis Milton or Baptist (I have and saw both but don't remember which) listed : 5'10.5"
and the size differential with Tarver was bigger than 1" of what I've seen of it.
    boxrec : Dawson : 6'1" (sometimes 6'3") , Tarver 6'2" .
In the fight Dawson was listed 6'1" , Tarver 6'3" and Dawso clearly
    taller.
James Toney : 5'9" at best in reality. 5'10" according to boxrec.
listed as 6"/75" in some of his TV fights.
Gerald McClellan : boxrec had him 6'2" , somewhat around Hearns' height (saw the exhibition) , slightly shorter in fact.
boxrec miraculously changed him to 6" later.
still , in his fight against benn he was listed 5'11.5" of what I remembered.
the Joe Louis reach scandal everyone remembers .
Will be continued , trust me.
