Is there a legitimate reason why Bute should not accept a fight with Andre Dirrell?

Is "I don't want to lose my title." considered legit for purposes of this thread?

 

He could lose his title against Ward to.... :nut
Apparently that didn't stopped him from wanting the fight.

I voted NO, Dirrell, being an original S6 and being american, fits the criterias for Showtime and for Bute.

My first choice is Ward, but he don't want the fight yet.
Second and close to #1 is Froch, cause he deserves it.
Dirrell is the 3rd option, if Showtime agrees.

All in all, anyone of those would be great, if you compare with what we had to feast on for the last 2 years. Juste make it happend, Showtime!

Wrong Dirrell. Bute is rumored to otherwise face ANTHONY Dirrell, who is Bute's mandatory. Andre Dirrell has shown no interest whatsoever in fighting Bute.

If for some reason Andre Dirrell was trying to make an offer, which he's not, then I guess it would depend on the offer. Froch is a bigger fight, but if he can't get Froch, Ward or Kessler, and Dirrell wants the fight, then he should fight Dirrell. But Andre isn't going to cockblock his own brother, and Anthony is the one who wants the fight. Anthony is just an untested prospect, and certainly isn't as good as his brother (although he's more exciting).

Answer to this thread : Yes ! Dirrel isn't a known fighter in his country , he's not a draw , he's not a title holder ........ he was beaten by Froch and Abraham ; in that fight against Abraham , Dirrel was crying and acting like a little pus.sy !!

I admit that he has great talent but he's not a true fighter , he has lack of heart and "man-up mentality" !

Now, that Andre Dirrell remains the only decent option for Bute I say that is a legit fight . Andre Dirrell has talent and speed , same as Andre Ward , so it would be for Bute a good fight preparation before a meeting with Andre Ward ( if this fight will happen ever ).

 

Not strictly true,whilst Dirrell spent most of the Froch fight trying to avoid being hit instead of boxing,he did have the balls to come to Frochs backyard,and untill Butes mans up and agrees to a fight somewhere other than Canada or Romania i'd say Dirrell has more heart than Bute.

This is what Bute fans do. Strange people. When there is talk of their hero finally fighting a legit fighter, rather than rejoice at the news and hope that their hero takes the fight, they start listing reasons why the fight shouldn't happen. Like I said, strange "fans."

 

He didn't call him out, he simply said he'd like to fight him sometime. That's not exactly a call out IMO. It was more of a "duck" without quacking.
He still says he needs more fights. I got a feeling he's pulling a POtvetkin here.
