Well, I can tell you I absolutely agree about that commentary. I hope it's the first and last time I hear this Paulie guy. You might as well have John Moschitta in there.
I don't consider that a dive. After meeting Tyson in the middle of the ring and feeling his power, Seldon made a sound business decision.
That was scary at the time I was watching and then fast forward to Joe Smith having B Hop break dance on his head. Anytime you leave the ring like that you are FK
Sonny Liston rolling around on the canvas against Ali is the gold standard for dives. But there are some good ones mentioned here
The training videos released this week show he's been a good addition. And, as I mentioned, he went down from shots like that routinely - even in fights he was winning - at the end of his career. He couldn't take a shot over the ear at the end of his career. Something would short circuit. I know this is just another bash Wilder thread. But there were arguably two dives on the PPV last weekend. If you want to be outraged about a possible dive, you don't have to go back SEVEN YEARS to try to locate one. You don't even have to go back seven days.
Actually it was the left hook, but Wilder throws the left right so fast I know some of you can't see it. Watch the final replay.
