Is there something of Dempsey in Andy Ruiz (Joshua version)?

No comparison here. Ruiz not only agreed to fight the top black fighter of his generation, but he destroyed him.

Theres a difference between beating someone up and out classing them

Jack Dempsey looked rugged and had the reputation, so the mauling of the establishment-gentlemen was expected...Andy Ruiz didn't look the part or have any violent-past, he looked like a spoiled kid who was fed regularly by his mother for too long. So the psychological trauma Andy Ruiz caused is much bigger than anything Jack Dempsey did. Andy Ruiz liquidation of Anthony Joshua is the ATG upset in Heavyweight boxing, midget Tyson was an underdog coming versus a determined Taller Buster Douglas

Seems many here are underrating that extraordinary feat imo. Im convinced the comparison between Dempsey and Ruiz in that fight Is not ventured.

Can't take anything away and it was a huge upset , biggest upset I've seen live by a mile
I see what you're saying in terms of the determination, heart, aggression etc but I guess you could say that for any fighter that shows those traits

Only really disagree with your definition of outclass tbh - although I do see what you're saying , 4kds etc. The reason I don't see it as outclassing is because rounds 1 & 2 were Joshua's business as usual, first half of round 3 too, then he got careless going for the kill , got put down, didn't recover, got put down again
Rounds 4-6 were swing rounds that could have gone either way to be honest, AR wasn't too effective from memory , then round 7 he caught AJ again . For me outclassing would be a sustained period of effective control of the ring (in this case rounds 3-7) but that just wasn't the case,if anything AJ controlled those rounds because he was able to nullify Ruiz's aggression and keep him on the end of the jab or clinch him. Wasn't pretty, and ultimately wasn't effective enough, but in between round 3 and round 7 I certainly wouldn't call Ruiz dominant hence I can't class it as outclassing him

Get where you're coming from though mate

In boxing he had more mature and older than he opponents with more experience than he did had in his teen years due to his weight.
I think he had really sharp ammy boxing and gym exp there even before had turned into an adult and a pro boxer.

Naw, Dempesy is guy who likes me really damn a lot. Very rough life for young guy, hard and difficult road with boxing, for me looks really notable life and his heritage. Regardless even was he a champ or if he even was just simple top level boxer. Dempsey is cool and his life too is good lesson.

Na, he got concussed and beat up

    Outclassed is out boxed

Not Knockin it, either results in a win

Dempsey is one of the finest humans to ever come, influencing a long list of people, the psychological impact of his wins was less traumatic because it was expected that he comes and do serious damage (we can imagine he had an aura similar to Mike Tyson)

The psychological trauma Andy Ruiz had, was very disruptive to many people. The idea that an overweight Super Middleweight can KO a "modern" Super-Heavyweight changed all the rules, Chris Byrd outboxed them, but Andy Ruiz made it clear that any Super Middle weight can come and chin any Heavyweight & become a world Champion. Andre Ward was greatly influenced by this fight & more than likely we will see him come & conquer one of the heavyweight champions.

Andy Ruiz psychological impact outside of boxing
Lots of the roided-over-confident body-builders & rude skinny guys used to think they can beat up the chubby guys whenever they want, after the vicious beatdown Any Ruiz put on Anthony Joshua...Everybody became wary of the obese oversized guys browsing the snack aisles, reaching the general consensus that its best to allow the oversized guy to finish his business first...getting leftovers is much better than catching a beatdown by an emotionally stirred obese man in his favorite aisle
