You'd have to be a complete fool to think this is his final fight.:nut Of course he's going to fight again - a pac rematch is BIG money! :nod

Why would he retire if he can keep up making millions and not even fight the toughest guys in the divisions. He'll fight a few more years and make at least 200 million dollars more.

It's already set he is going to rematch Pacquiao after Berto. ESB will say "I wont pay for this" when they will. And the fight is going to generate a stupid amount of money.

    This:deal

The lure of achieving a record 50 and 0 will bring him so much money he wont be able to turn it down. That and the fact that he will eclipse the record of Rocky Marciano. Thats history right there. :deal

Honestly, why would ANYONE care? His fights are the most boring championship fights ever, and he only fights guys that are bums or well past their best? I hope this is his last fight but couldn't care less if he actually fights again. this berto match up is a disgrace and floyd fans should be utterly embarrassed and ashamed. FLoyd is known for cherry picking, floyd is know for ducking good fighters and not taking true challenges, yet his apparent last fight is against the virtually worst opponent he could face? All he is doing is proving me and everyone else right, those who always said he's scared to face real challenges. Absolutely pathetic.

So far, about 9 out of 10 people believe Floyd will continue fighting after Berto.

Impossible to extrapolate the casual consumer's willingness to buy PPV based on a crude study of a boxing forum's believability of this fight's marketing strategy, but I reckon those of whom that do decide to buy the PPV, casuals and hardcore fans alike, probably won't be doing so because they believe it will be their last chance to see Floyd fight.

And considering that Berto, as an opponent choice, is utter phoop, coupled with the egregiously sour public response gotten from the Pacquiao fight that hasn't yet washed away, and that fans were teased with the idea that the fight might have be aired on free television, I don't see any other outcome than this fight bombing on PPV and wetting the bed.
