He beats the Worlds number 538th best light heavyweight and then starts screaming who's next? Is he totally talking the **** here or something?

Its the equivalent of Real Madrid beating previously defunct Chester City and acting like it was the Champions League Final.

First pro honours, everyone in the UK has refused to fight him. I'd literally give up everything (apart from my family) to have been a boxer and to have won the Commonwealth. So no I dont think he is a comedian, I just think he was proud that all the hard work he's put into the sport throughout his life has finally started to pay dividends :good

Tony Bellew is the future undisputed Light Heavyweight Champion of the World...:yep

Is he a comedian...:think No, he is a very confident fighter who says it as it is, who is backing up his mouth all the time...:good

Make sure you save this post that you put up because in good time you will see that this thread is so way off the mark...but it will make me laugh when I think about this thread in the future...

Tony Bellew... AND THE NEW...:happy :happy

  6. Real would have a job beating Chester these days!

I don't see the problem with him getting a touch over-excited. He was fighting in his hometown for his first title, he blew his oppenent (albeit a limited one) away in the first round and did it in front of his friends, family, hero (Conteh) and a good audience on Sky.

I'd rather have someone who's happy to win over someone who looks as if he doesn't care.

Bellew is a product of his environment as he said last night he loves to fight. He has violent intentions when he enters the ring and that mixed with his skills and love of the sport is a great mix if used well. He gets emotional after his fights lets a bit of emotion out and i like it...he probably don't even know what he's gonna say he just lets it out. I wouldn't read to much into it.

:rofl Delusional, it is amazing how much smoke up his arse and arse licking Tony gets on here. He has not got the athletic or all round ability to be the best in the LHW division. He is good euorpean level IMO. His technique or speed is not there yet.

What are you basing that on - less than 2 rounds of footage? :huh

That's the key point and he's clearly desperate to test himself against better opposition.
