How would you know that. The TS is right. What if Tyson was primed and motivated in the 70's with Ali, Foreman, Holmes and countless others, he would do what? He was the youngest HW champion who beat Berbick. At that stage of the HW era, all the greats were pretty much done. Then you get the Berbicks, Bonecrusher, Tuckers, and the rest of the one hit wonders.

Youngest champ ever, wins over Holmes,Tubbs,Berbick,Spinks, Tucker,Biggs, even Bruno - all who would dominate todays HW division.
Shame a lying ***** got him sent to jail in what i believe would have been his true prime 25-28.

Youngest man to become heavyweight champ. Unified all the belts. Spanked spinks and holmes. Biggest boxing draw before the era of ppv fights, infact started the ppv era. The man did three years in prison. Came out and unified the belts again. Lost to holyfields head. Lost to the medication the Lewis camp required him to take before the fight. I love Tyson. If u don't think he's an all time great than that's ur opinion but he will be in the HOF.

None of those guys would win belt in today's division.
And I thought Tyson was already past his prime when Douglas crushed him.

Theres some things that cannot be overlooked.

What Tyson showed in the ring during the mid 80's to early 90's in terms of his speed, his power, his head movement, his combinations was something special, and would have given any heavyweight trouble to a certain extent. For a 5 ft 11 heavyweight to slip jabs and punches to get in the inside and throw hooks over and over again, it was something impressive thats why he had tht respect in that time period.

But his resume is not as good as Holyfield, or Lennox Lewis and many other HW

I'm sorry mate but that is total Bollocks.

The best fighter he ever beat was Michael Spinks and he was a fat LH weight.A very good fat LH mind.

Tyson is a classic case of what meant have been.

    He was a dominant champion.

We don't even have an undisputed champion today.

I never said he is the best Heavyweight that ever lived.

What i should have said was Prime Tyson would have caused problems for any heavyweight if they happen to fight.

To add to your point, unlike some whose stock actually go up after a spirited loss, Tyson's losses were nothing short of brutal beatdowns, in which he looked amateurish in every single one.
