Painting with too broad a brush here. No detraction of Tyson at all. This fight was over-hyped. Didn't you think Spinks would get crushed? Spinks win over a drugged out ****ey is what caused some to think Spinks had a chance because it wasn't known about how f'd up ****ey was in that fight. No need to mention Spinks and Holmes because that type of fight wasn't going to happen with Tyson. Again, good win for Tyson but even Tyson has down played it.

Its relative. Mike showed what ATG boxers would do to a guy like Haye when he fought a better guy who came up from a lower weight.

Why should Wlad get credit for Haye and Tyson none for Spinks.

Precisely why I don't place myself in the second category of fans that I mentioned, but nor am I in the first. It was a very good win but not an exceptional one.

Come on, you know as well as I do that Haye was a hell of a lot more dangerous and a bigger puncher than Spinks.

My confidance is irrelevant,i wasn't scheduled to fight, however Haye was picked by the majority of the pros to beat fury . if they fought now I don't know who would win,i do know Haye had little trouble with Valuev while fury avoided all the big top Hw's.I do know Haye is better than cunninham who was able to drop fury at least.

I guess Spinks was more proven at heavyweight than some light heavyweight champions or challengers that moved up in weight. Probably a level above Frazier's win over Foster

    Spinks was better than Haye.
But that's really not saying much.

I would say the braindeader is the one who thinks Haye is better than Spinks.
