He has publicly said he would love a rematch, but Shaw is cockblocking him since Donaire left Shaw for Top Rank.

Both DOnaire and Vic need each other badly imo.. Vic's competition at 118 looks very tough and Donaire needs this rematch to really become a marquee fighter.
Donaire has vic's number!! hope it happens..

Yes he is and he's using Gary shaw to hide his fear of Nonito. Seriously, maybe he's not scared of Nonito but simply wants to maximize his earnings
as he's not getting any younger and he knows that Nonito can drastically change all his plans for the future. I think the rematch will happen but not in the near future.

ahhh, you pretend to know what's up and you come up with **** like this. donaire's manager did not call the fight off. there was a lack of funding from the promoter of the event and so it might get cancelled.

i think you should be the one to watch interviews and read articles

You should've felt the irony there, Underdog. Vic ducking Donaire makes just as much sense as Donaire ducking Martinez. No sense, but I think you know that, don't pretend you don't.

Of course team Darchy is ducking Donaire, dont know if Vic personaly is ducking him but his team is and I know if Vic is a true Warrior this will not sit well with him for very long that loss has to be redeemed.

dude you pretended to know the whole **** and you ended up pulling facts from your ass. topic does not matter. you attacked the thread starter's personality by saying he should read more and watch more interviews and your counter was misinformed too.

next time you tell someone to get the facts, at least be sure that you know the facts.

Nope. Vic just has bigger fish to fry. I'm not of the belief that a boxer needs to avenge every loss. It would be a nice extra but just seeing a boxer move on after a loss and do his best to excel gets my respect.

And just got to say that I'm just sorry for how much **** Donaire's career has been getting lately. He needs to catch a break.

Nonentity Donaire fans are getting frustrated because Nonentity can't land a decent fight.

Apparently it was all Gary Shaw's fault that Nonentity couldn't get fights when he had him under contract but now the some stuff is happening with Bob Arum.

The reason the fights aren't happening is because no-one is willing to put up the money to make them happen.

The Montiel fight didn't fall through because Montiel couldn't make weight. It fell through because they couldn't find the money to pay him to fight in the Philippines.

If Montiel gets offered a fight with Darchinyan at 115, he'll take it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Darchinyan fight Montiel next with 6 belts on the line: Darchinyan's three, plus WBO 115, WBO Interim 118 & The Ring 115.
