VD is already ranked 8-10 p4p..if he beat donaire, i do not think people would put him in the top 5...high risk low reward....montiel would be a bigger money fight for him
while Vic himself would fight Donaire in a rematch because he is a warrior, his management is obviously running scared.
if really feel that donaire would be most likely opponent for montiel, leaving VD without worthy opponent...maybe he can go to japan and fight the 118 champ there i think mares would be a tough fight for VD, i see mares winning in that fight
Maybe, maybe not. But one thing is sure though, Shaw is doing everything he can to not let the two meet in the ring again. Actually, after the Darchinyan KO, Donaire was being mismanaged by Shaw (for obvious reasons).
vic doesnt duck anyone, vic fights everyone put in front of him, im also sure vic would put donaire away next time they meet,
he put donaire in there because he thougth he'll get starched by darchinyan for sure. he didnt do it to five donaire "opportunity to fight for the title despite the fact he hadn't done anything to earn it" as you claimed. he put him in the ring with vic cause vic is his pet and he though donaire would get knocked out too. he gave the fight to donaire not to give him the chance but for shaw to pocket more money because he does not have to get a fighter from another promoter for vic to beat before he moved on to 115 shaw got pissed at donaire for beating his money cow so he gave him hell after and this led to donaire wanting to go somewhere else. you can fool youself into believing that shaw was kind and gave donaire a title shot even if he didnt deserve it but the truth is he didnt give a crap about donaire. vic was buffet table.
I don't believe he's ducking Nonito. Vic and Shaw simply want to maximize their earnings as Vic not getting any younger. IMHO, Nonito would KO Vic if they would rematch.:good
