What part of SRL means Povetkin? I always skim through your posts which is why i misread it first time. Second time the point was addressed so why you acting like i still meant Povetkin? Because you walked face first into a hole and are now avoiding the chit post you realised you made. Guess what dummy. All your posts are chit:risas3::risas3:

You can hear the translator saying they are talking about the amount of pain in his left arm. You can visibly see Vitali thrown right hand leads and using his left as little as possible. Vitali went to Hamburg's Fleetklink hospital to have surgery after the fight. Again trying to use a fight Vitali was clearly winning, but had to be stopped because of a injury as the biggest blimp on his record proves how great Vitali really was.

In sports where only 1 person plays, yes they do.

If this were Tennis, Vitali is up 2 sets to zero and in the lead in the third set and suddenly tears his shoulder, then has to retire.

Byrd was very lucky. He could not believe it when he won

He didn't have to retire. He even said so himself after Chisora.

'That's why I couldn't lift my arm - it wasn't listening to me. 'I had two choices: give up like I did 12 years ago against Chris Byrd - because the tendon was torn, the pain unbearable.

'In Munich I took the second option: grit your teeth and pull through.

'I would have rather died than lose my title to this creep.

    Now move on, nuthugger.

You can see WITH YOUR OWN eyes he is throwing jabs and left hooks.

Is there some nuthugging wankstain part of your brain that changes what you see?

He feared for his career when his arm went numb. He is a sports doctor, who are you to say better? Make any $ense?

But when his career was ending vs Chisora, he fought on and beat Chisora with the same injury.

By the way, the hall of fame is full of people who quit. Care to name a few of your own favorite fighters?

God you are desperate. Read my last comment already proved Vitali was injured, and the video from the fight also proves Vitali was injured as I have already pointed out. You're very good at proven how great Vitali was, still trying his very best to use his left arm even though he was in extreme pain.

Yeah, he chose to quit. He was in a ton of pain, not able to use his arm effectively, and felt he was losing the fight. Probably due to a combination of his injury and Byrd frustrating him in a way he'd yet to experience as a pro. He's a highly intelligent guy and determined it was the logical thinking to quit in a fight he (mistakenly) thought he was going to lose anyway in order to prevent the injury from getting worse and threatening his career. He said as much in his interview right after the fight.

Was probably the right call, even though he underestimated the backlash he would get because he wasn't fully aware of Western boxing culture.

To the vast majority of people, the heart he showed in the Lewis fight, and the fact that upon reviewing it, it was clear that he would handily beat Byrd in a rematch, removed any real lingering issue with the defeat and his decision to quit.

Im sure he never expected internet forum posters twenty years later to be using it as an example against either his heart or his ability, but I doubt he would really care too much because virtually no one else does.

I think the best you can say about Byrd is he was an awkward style matchup for Vitali, and that if they faced each other again, and VK didn't get injured, Vitali would have probably labored to a clear ud but dropped some rounds along the way.
