This post shows greata naivety! Tyson was well past his prime when he fought LL, Lewis really was on his downward slide...but Tyson was not the fighter he was in the late 80's. Vitali is a great champion...but I really think Chisora who lost to novice Tyson Fury...only served to show that Vitali is a great champ that is fading and now past his best. As for dominating for a decade...really? What was he doing from 2004-2008?? over 3 n half years out!! He wasnt dominating then! Father time catches up with all fighters - no exceptions! Vitali can hear father time calling his name and he hears it...thats why he says all fights potentially are his last fight - he knows he's in the twilight of his career. How can you rank Vitali over Larry Holmes (20 title defenses), Foreman, and Ali. Technical flaws or not, those three men faced much harder competition than Vitali, vitali is king of the weakest division in modern boxing
larry holmes? let me tell you something. Let me educate you. Do you know a boxer called tyson fury? A technically poor fighter from england. When he first came on the scene he was compared with Holmes. If Holmes is compared to Fury, that tells me everything i need to know about Holmes. Foreman=one dimensional. Power but nothing else. Tyson (Mike) is far superior. Ali I've already talked about. Good for his day but modern fighters with superior strength, conditionining and nutriton would walk him down. Lewis was too old. There's no point continuing long past your prime, he still managed to barely win over Vitali, but he was not getting any younger, and realized it's time for him to quit. I hope Vitali will make the same conclusion before some punk like Chisora actually beats him.
