    I think Ward is the number one guy atm, I don't see how anyone can really dispute it at the current time.

    I am the biggest Ward detractor you can find on the internet. But I'm a boxing fan first, I cannot deny that he is the #1 p4p fighter right now.

    After the Kovalev series, both men's stock dropped significantly in my eyes. They look to be on the decline and I'm not convinced they can take on the new blood of the light heavy division. That's why both guys are looking for a cruiser they can match up with as we speak. Which frankly I'm disappointed in both men for doing so, they aren't seeking out greater challenges at cruiser they are just looking to avoid going out on their shield against someone like Beterbiev.

    As for P4P 1...it's just an opinion or impression and not a real title by any means. Between Kovalev and Ward, I think Kovalev was slightly better, he deserved the nod in the first fight and the rematch should be a NC.

    For me h2h, I don't actually consider Ward that great, never been sold on his skills. But resume wise, without a shadow of a doubt he's p4p #1, so I've no problem with this placement but as far as just boxing goes, I consider the likes of Rigo, Crawford, Loma far superior to him, heck I even rate Mikey higher.
