Honestly it felt like a sparring session then an uppercut landed.

    Whyte was embarrassingly bad

It looked exactly how it was expected to look. It wasn't horribly messy. It wasn't a good fight either. It was the mismatch that was predicted. Fat classy champion toyed with fat limited contender and knocked him out in 6.

That is exactly what the Broadcasters and Promoters should tell the fighters - become a real superstar then you get on Box Office in Box Office worthy fights.

The vast majority of these Box Office events were simply competitive fights between non elite fighters, particularly in the Heavyweight Division.

Also look at Joshua when he started on Box Office fighting for the British Title against Dullian Whyte and never fought again on Sky Sports. That fight along with puddings Martin, Breazeale and Molina were never Box Office events as zero risk non competitive fights.

The Klitschko fight was a Box Office event and so was the Usyk fight - the rest are very poor Box Office material although I accept there may be a counter argument for Box Office as he was the World Champion cleaning up the belts vacated by Fury.

That fight last night was a genuine Box Office event for the homecoming of The Gypsy King at a packed Wembley Stadium and so were all 3 fights against Wilder.

I still believe that existing Sky Sports, BT Sports and DAZN UK subscribers etc should not get charged extra for Box Office but no problem charging non subscribers to watch fights.

My other gripe is Parker v Joyce, Chisora v Anybody for zero titles are simply non elite, non title decently matched fights that should never be Box Office events.

    End of rant.

Hearn has done a fantastic job with Whyte , as a nation we really are thick though, all you need do is repeat the same slogan over and over and over and people start believing it.

Whytes "most avoided" and "will fight anyone at anytime" bollocks really sucked them in, along with jazzy promos on Sky.

Some of the lads I know, who are mainly into football, were convinced Whyte was going to get what was rightfully his and he was going to shine last night, even today some are calling it "a un-Whyte like performance" when it was a typical Whyte we all saw.

Totally agree. Sadly it’s become the method for a promoter to prove a TV company wrong, that the fighter’s inflated demands will be topped up by the mugs where TV rights fees won’t cover it.

But good luck to the boxers making their cash while they can, nothing wrong with being popular even if it’s manufactured.

Eddie did a bloody good job with this guy and he was complaining about earning £8m! F Me, the old plodder done well. He is a hard working street fighter. The money he has earned in accordance to his ability is extraordinary.

Hard to claim any credit over beating the ravaged corpse of povetkin. He looked like he was ready to keel over on the ring walk.

There's a huge argument for Whyte being the best promoted fighter of all time. You can't convince me that Whyte is better than a prime Chisora. Their own fights prove as much.

It's great promotion. He never had great record. They talk like he has a great record on the media but he never did. It's public relations. Spin doctors. They even forget he lost eliminator to Povetkin pretend it never happened almost, says he's been waiting and waiting. Forget he refused to challenge AJ when he had a big very big opportunity. Of course at the time he rather face Oscar Rivas in the payperview. Gravy train. Who will remember Oscar Rivas? Just a regular heavyweight like Whyte.

Whyte is just roughhouse plodder basic heavyweight. The post above that says Matt Skelton got it right. Worth respect at the low level or UK/Euro class but stupid to rate them at top world level
& insane to be main man on payperview! insane. !!!

I and many others on here have been posting for years about the limitations of these Matchroom Heavyweight fighters long before they were exposed in the ring.

Joshua is simply a good heavyweight but non elite with both Whyte and Chisora Career Puddings no better than British Level.

It is simply sensational for so many PPV Mugths to be fleeced time and time again because Earn stated they were watching greatness unfold in front of them.

Incredibly these PPV mugths still believe Joshua is an elite fighter and they are about to get on the Connor Benn PPV Gravy Train.

Earn is simply sensational with his use of words and these PPV mugths don't stand a chance.

Whyte and Dean just use his platform (Sky/DAZN) on a fight by fight basis which is mutually beneficial to both. Eddie's purse bid for the fight was as an independent bidder not as Whyte's promoter and he had no involvement in the fight/Dillian whatsoever on Saturday other than as his long term business friend. They lost millions (according to Dillian) trying to fight the WBC in court so I doubt after fee's he has come out of this with much and will probably need to fight on to get more money to support his other business ventures. No way they would have made such a mess of it if Hearn was negotiating on his behalf and if he was under contract to Hearn it would be Hearn paying the legal fee's.
