Is Wlad just a Bute without a Froch to fight?

    They aint Elite. The won the belts from fighters who were even lower down the pecking order than they were.

    It's not Wlad's fault. His legacy shouldn't be undermined by the fact that his opposition simply up to it. It's kind of like Mike Tyson from 1985-1989. He mowed through everyone.

    Wlad simply doesn't have a Lennox, Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, Bowe, Tua et al type of challenger. His biggest challenger (mythically speaking) was a guy who he dwarfed by 4" and outweighed by 40lbs and who was naturally 2 weight divisions smaller than him in reality.

    Wlad is a super HW. His opponents for the most part are heavyweights,. His biggest challenge came from a blown up cruiserweight in Haye.

    The other contrast to Tyson is that Wlad enjoys massive physical advantages over his opponents while Tyson was usually 2-6" shorter, lighter and had to rely on speed and timing rather than brute force. For that reason alone, I rank Tyson significantly higher than the Klitschko brothers.

    For the record - Head to Head, I think a 1988 Tyson demolishes Wladimir.
