:goodThe haters know better than you do, CHEF. When one desperately wants to believe something, s/he can find "facts" to support just about anything.

Nope, he is probably too weak nowadays (since being off the juice) to lift that fat wallet of his.... It's funny cause the same friend moved one of the pitchers from the Cardinals (Kyle Loshe) earlier this summer and was only tipped $10. What's up with all the bad-tipping pro athletes around here I wonder..lol

Yeah, against Marcus McGee. He got a KO1 but it was tossed out because he tested positive for an illegal substance. I think he (big surprise) said it was for his "asthma," his all-purpose excuse.

Jesus...even when I was not very flush I always tipped each mover $50, plus bought them pizza and drinks. These guys are ****ing cheapskates, that's pitiful.

Holyfield was caught ordering roids under the name "Holy Evanderfield" or something dumb like that.

And as mentioned, Briggs was popped so he definitely belongs on the list.

Yeah I was guessing... or I went to boxrec and looked at his fight weights. From 1996 to 2000 he had 37 fights. His weight in between that time fluctuated from 222 to 246. 24lb weight gain while training for, and fighting 37 fights. In 97 alone he fought 13 fights.
Do you have any idea what a world class boxer goes through in training to prepare for a fight? I seriously doubt you do. While on the other hand I do because I have prepared fighters for 12 round title fights.
I would also venture to say what you consider "in shape" is quite different from what someone in my profession would consider" in shape."

You sound like you have some experience, have you prepared professional boxers for championship fights by any chance.

This thread is such bull****. I respect the opinions of the guys that know all about weight and conditioning, but what are we trying to prove here?

There are many boxers who have tested positive to PEDs, and that's with the awful BS testing boxing has in place today. There are also other guys who have put on large amounts of muscle mass in very short periods. Why don't we start threads about those guys instead of speculating about the Klits. Wlad has never had any controversy and Vitali failed 1 test as an amatuer 14 years ago and made his excuses. They may well be juicing but then so might every other fighter in boxing. As long as we have no real tesing this thread is pointless and to me focusing in on the Klits is not valid at all.

I agree 1000% that it's unfair to focus on the Klitsckos. You have James Toney, Shane Mosely, Roy Jone, Evander Holyfield, Fans Botha, Richard Hall, Joey Gilbert, and a host of others. I am sure PED use is just a rampant in boxing as it is other sports.

Remember It was "Evan Fields" who happens to have the same address as Holy who was buying the roids... Holy is innocent it was all an honest misunderstanding.:D Seriously if your going to buy roids why make a name up that close to yours.

Yeah but according to us yanks they were the " Evil Empire who tested on their subjects and were ruthless " I just read a report where in I think it is Guatemala? We paid the Government in the late 40's and 50 to use prostitutes and sometimes outright injections of std's to test if Penicillin would treat them in a prison.. Of course none of the prisoners were informed.

I have to call you out on this i just looked on boxrec and at no time did his weight fluctuate between that his first fight weighing over 240 was 3/18/2000 http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=7035&cat=boxer matter of fact he hadnt weighed 222 since what his 5th pro fight? and didnt even weigh 230 lbs till his 18th pro fight:huh and since he weighed 240 for the first time the lowest weight which was twice was 238 lbs.

besides that he has been in the 240 lb - 247 lb range you looked at box-rec so i dont know if you have an agenda or why you were being purpously decietful... matter of fact 247 is the most he has ever weighed and that was his last fight. Lennox Lewis weight increased over 25lbs over the course of his career i guess your " expert opeinion he must of been juicing too :blood

Wladamirs average weight has increased gradualy throughout his career which is true of most sports i can show you the same things in basketball football etc..

My in shape is 6-pack abs and not overly muscley.. so idk about your in shape but im in very good shape.

11-19-96 220 lbs / 07-15-2000 244 lbs. So here we have an professional boxer with an ectomorphic body type fighting and average of roughly 8 fights a year and some how manages to gain 24lbs of lean mass while training yearly near round to compete in professional boxing matches. It is a FACT that gaining 10-12 lbs in a year would be considered oustanding gains for a dedicated natural bodybuilder. In fact... the longer an athlete trains the less responsive there body will become to training. Meaning the longer you train the harder it becomes to gain lean mass. Yet somehow Wladimir has defied the laws of human physiology and managed to gain 27 lbs of muscle without weight training, or PED.
Also there is a great difference between gaining weight, and gaining lean mass. Wladimirs weight gain appears to be all lean mmuscle tissue. Where as it is obvious that Lennox's weight gain was more consistent with the normal weight gain men get as they age. His weight gain was not all lean muscle like Wladimir's was.
Having a six pack does not mean you are in shape. What is your BMI? Can you bench your own weight. How many chinups can you do? Can you run a mile? If so how long does it take? Often times being in shape has little do do with outward appearance. It is more accurate to judge your fitness level based on how your body performs.
