Sure its hypocritical because Vlad has accomplished more but one must point out that Golota's level of competition blows Vlad's out of the water.

Golota: Bowe x2, Lewis, Tyson, Witherspoon, Byrd, Ruiz vs.

Klit: Byrd, Peter, Brewster and the rest are so insignificant its laughable.

I ask you, who has faced the stiffer competition?

Also, although Golota has failed against the toughest tests, he has never lost to anyone outside of the top ten - something that cannot be said about Klit.

:patsch If you are going to merit Witherspoon and Ruiz, then you have to with Schultz, Botha, Mercer, McCline, Brock, etc...

Witherspoon is a stretch I'll give you that, but Ruiz was at the top of the division. In the end, Golota has faced much tougher competition and that's an irrefutable fact.

    Faced, whatever.

But Wlad has many more wins over tougher competition than Golota and has as many wins in title bouts as Golota has X 12 + 12... And that is an irrefutable fact.

Golota of TODAY would have a shot against Wlad.

Golota of 1996 would prove too formidable for Wlad.

Sucks for Wlad that today's vision is grossly lacking in talent.

And he took what belts home? He didn't just lose but got totally and utterly destroyed by Tyson, Lewis, and Brewster beat him so bad Golota fans were crying for him to retire on this board.
Believe what you want to believe. I'm not as huge a fan of Klitschko as you are of Golota so there's point in us getting into it.

No way, Golota ('96) is too stationary for Wlad. The opponent has to have a unique feature to bother Wlad and Golota doesn't possess any of them...

It would be a repeat but in later rounds of Golota-Lewis.

Christ, you're delusional. Giuliani and Golota. Today's Chokemeister would have no chance agaomst Wlad.

i already said that Klit is the more accomplished boxer, in the previous page. That was never the argument. My point was simply that Golota has had much stiffer competition.

At least he's never choked against fringe journeyman competitors like ROSS "the BOSS" Purity.

The division today is ****-poor compared to what it was in the mid-90s. Few would dispute that.

To date, Wlad has never been in the type of war which was Bowe-Golota II. Never. Wlad is crafty but boring. It is what it is. The division would be better off if Wlad lost, because the casual fan could care less about him.

Yes, because Wlad is capable of defeating people without making it a war. It's not like he went through the Peter fight unscathed, either.

But you can't blame him that very few, pretty much just a couple, can take his punches. So he really won't get into too many wars...

I said he's crafty, but that in no way precludes him from being boring.

At least Lewis seemed to have some better drive in him that made him exciting at times.

I just think the state of the division suffers with a bore like Klit at the helm. He's a good fighter who's learned how to utlizie his strengths, he has improved under Manny, and usually gets the job done.

But he rarely generates much excitement, and the division could really use some of that right about now, wouldn't you agree?

I agree with you there. I'm hoping Povetkin relieves him of the title shortly. I'm just saying, I find it hilarious that Jetski bashes Wlad and his Eastern European fans, when he's the biggest nationalistic nuthugger we have in this joint.
